So I squirted hand sanitizer in the cap and wiped out the ink caked in there. I know I wasted a lot of ink, but I wanted a clean marker. Hand sanitizer is fast, but if you want to use EVERY micro-ounce of ink, then use this technique

mariannemarianne walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13525788441654155114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2896052019252712485.post-39156830832578736922008-06-05T18:52:00.000-07:002008-06-05T18:52:00.000-07:00WOW!! I predict that your blog is going to be the most popular ever!! I have one question (well more than one ... about a hundred of them), but I'm trying to stay on topic as you post. :) In your first post you noted in your first tip "for cleaning your dirty Copic Markers, try Hand Sanitizer. This stuff has alcohol in it, and Copic markers are alcohol based. Depending on the brand this will also moisturize and smell nicer than rubbing alcohol." However, in this more recent post, you taught us a totally different way to clean a "grungy" one (your words). ~ smile When would you use the Hand Sanitizer to clean your markers and how would you do it?

Thanks again for starting this blog. The word is spreading like wildfire among all of us Copic Coloring Wannabes.

Judylifesabeach32940https://www.blogger.com/profile/00306096450522195474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2896052019252712485.post-51551260346676105132008-06-05T18:44:00.000-07:002008-06-05T18:44:00.000-07:00I am so excited about your blog. Do you live in an area that is having sharp pressure changes from weather? Have you been flying with your markers?

If you see the tip getting really shiny and you think it's gonna blob, then take the cap off the other end and lay the marker down. This should even out the air pressure inside. That air pressure is what keeps the markers juicy for so Long. Copic markers WILL NOT dry out just sitting there for years (with the cap on)marianne walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13525788441654155114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2896052019252712485.post-68673644337906685462008-06-05T10:38:00.000-07:002008-06-05T10:38:00.000-07:00Love that you have a blog! I have a problem with ...Love that you have a blog! I have a problem with a few of my copic markers and wondered if you could tell me if there's anything I can do to fix it. When I'm coloring an image, sometimes the marker will drip a big drop of ink on the paper! Does this mean it's too full of ink or the tip isn't in all the way? It can sure be aggravating when you've almost completed an image to have that happen. Thanks for any suggestions.Holly Younghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16326066329920202922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2896052019252712485.post-78172959948864380282008-06-05T08:41:00.000-07:002008-06-05T08:41:00.000-07:00Thanks for a wonderful tutorial!
