And I'm getting ready for Summer CHA and my certification class tomorrow. It is very hot and humid but I think it will be a very exciting week. I'll be on the lookout this week for many new and exciting products that will work with Copic markers, so keep looking with me. Do you have any suggestions of what you would like to see me pick up this week and test?
Leave me a comment with your favorite mixed-media use of Copic or anything that you would like to see me test and I'll try to meet with those companies and get some samples. Have a great week- I know I will!
I'd like suggestions on how to use the new colors. I bought all of the but they are so, so light - just a hint of color. Enjoy your time!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see you test out some new images.
ReplyDeleteWhat else does Tim Holtz have besides stamps that you can use with Copics? I'd love to hear/know!!:)
ReplyDeleteI've seen people stamp on clothing (baby onesies) and then color with Copic markers. I'd like to see more about that!
ReplyDeleteOH Man Marianne! Have a blast! Don't get too hot....and Give Joy and Cami a big hug for me! I don't have any requests/suggestions....I just can't wait to hear how it all went - Post pics of the booth if You can!
ReplyDeleteKisa
what about on canvass and ribbons or with texture gels, etc. Have a blast. I am headed down for the SUPER show. I am having a hard time focusing on work and I still have 4 days to go...
ReplyDeletePlease try the Copic markers on the Hambly overlays or other acetate products. I think their printed patterns with color behind would be great in altered projects.
ReplyDeleteHi there!!
ReplyDeleteHope it isn't as hot there as here - 102 today in British Columbia - WOW!!
I would LOVE to have a better pen than the opaque white for highlights etc. I really don't like them. Can you find us something else that flows MUCH better and actually never stops up and can be used until it is finished????? Oh and most important that can be shipped to Canada!
Thanks Love - have a blast - Candy
I really enjoyed your Orlando class today. I can't believe how quickly the time flew by. It seemed like one hour and not an entire day! You have so much to offer...I learned so much! Thank you :o)

Marianne,
ReplyDeleteWhat about Copics and acrylic paint? From class (and your tutorials) I remember that we should put the other medium on first so as not to damage the markers. Do you have some examples/tips (including different things to color/paint on, i.e. glass) you can share? Safe travels to you!!
Thanks!!
Take care and STAY POSITIVE!
have a great time there! What avout Copic and glossy accent, is there something nice we could do with this?
