You may feel that I have really dropped off the face of the earth right now but actually I have been very busy making it even easier for everyone to get the Copic instruction they need. Now Certifications will be coming closer to your home town...
Over the last few days we at Copic hosted a special training session. Not a regular Certification, but a special training to add some very talented ladies to our team of Regional Certification instructors.
You can meet each of these people at CHA and if you are a store looking to have a special event hosted by Copic you can contact them directly in your region to arrange something. Stores attending CHA can also ask our great team for ideas and advice on how to teach their own Copic classes and build their customer's knowledge, so look for their table at CHA (And we are planning for the future, so if you thought a regular Certification was fun, just you wait). Each of our new instructors will begin teaching after Winter CHA, in addition to our current team. (For more photos like this one visit Debbie's blog, as we seemed to be too busy to take photos. Thanks Debbie for remembering!)
If you are a store interested in contacting one of the Regional Instructors please send e-mails to nancy@copicmarker.com Be sure to include where you are located and how large your classroom space is. We will forward your request to the instructor nearest you and they will personally contact you. If you are wanting to attend a class in your area also e-mail Nancy and she'll add you to the mailing list for that area.
We have switched a few people on our blog team as well, but all the names are ones you should already be familiar with.
And so, without further fanfare...
The new Copic Instructors and their regions are:
Colleen Schaan
Colleen will be covering the Southern US. She has been teaching some absolutely fabulous online Copic classes through Our Creative Classroom and has visited stores in here area. Now you can take Certification Classes from her and ask her to host something special in your store if you're in her new region, as she will soon be moving to Atlanta. Welcome Colleen!
Lori Craig
Lori will be covering the Central Midwest, US. Lori should be a familiar name to many stampers, and I think we all adore Lori just as much as she adores grits (a wink right at you Lori!). In addition to her duties at SplitcoastStampers, Lori will be occasionally teaching Certification classes around Kansas, Missouri, and nearby states, so welcome to our team!
Sharon Harnist
Sharon gets to visit stores and teach Certifications from her home state of Texas up to Lori's area, and I'm sure the two of them will be co-teaching classes as well, since they are great friends. Sharon is a name you've seen around here for a while, but she also helps Ellen Hutson, Just Rite Stampers, Inchie Arts, Lockhart Stamp Co, and Taylored Expressions to name a few! Now she's on our Blog team as well, so thank you Sharon!
Kathy Sanders
Kathy will be teaching in the Northern Midwest/Chicago area. Kathy is a name you might not be familiar with unless you're on Splitcoast and recognize her as making some fabulous cards & tutorials. She has also taught Copic classes to papercrafters at her home store in Brookfield Wisconsin, Creative Pals, for over 6 years! If you've ever seen Whipper Snapper design's colored card examples most likely it was sweet Kathy who colored it.
Then, some other names you already know on our Design Team and some are also teaching Certifications:
Sherrie Siemens- Certification Instructor, Western Canada and Pacific Northwest. Look for more classes from Sherrie not just in Canada, but also in Washington and possibly Alaska (Betty, Nancy that's just for you!). Now Sherrie is also on our Design/Blog Team.
Sally Lynn MacDonald- Certification Instructor, North Eastern US and Eastern Canada. Sally Lynn already has a full schedule for 2010 scheduled so check out her blog for dates and locations. She has also been added to our Design/Blog Team, so look for great inspiration from her as well!
Debbie Olson - Certification Instructor, Regional Floater. Debbie may occasionally fill in and teach or assist at Certifications all across the country and she'll be helping us a little more with special projects, so look for more great things from Debbie.
Marianne Walker- me. I'll be floating around like usual and covering classes more in California, Oregon, and the Southwest region. I am also proud to announce that I made the blog team (oh wait, I guess I was already on the team, sorry!)
Michelle Wooderson - She's still our steadfast blogger, out there making faboulous projects using Copic Markers like she has for the last few years. We love you Mish!!
And we want to leave Trudee with a big warm hug and thank you! Trudee hasn't been doing as much papercrafting recently, but we thank her for all her gorgeous work as a past Copic Design Team member.
Go visit the blog of each of these people to really get to know them better. We are so lucky to have them on our Team and are looking forward to 2010!

Good luck and have a great time coloring!
I love my copic markers because of the great color selection and how well they blend. I currently use sketch markers but I'd love to get an ABS to give that a try on airbrushing the perfect background for my images.
ReplyDeleteOh I'm first! I adore all the beautiful colouring I am seeing on all the blogs I susbscribe to. I lost many art/hobby items in a water situation, so am hoping to replace some markers with copics. I've never sene them in real life, but the work everyone is doing is just gorgeous, and brings each image to life. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteCopics are brilliant and addictive. I love that they make me look like I know what I'm doing when it comes to colouring - I love your handy hints too! Thanks for teaching me.
ReplyDeleteI only have a few copics. I used them for coloring stamped images, but have been inspired to try them on ribbon as I have seen Michelle W. do and love that I can create my own colored ribbon to match my project!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever had classes in Nebraska?
Thank you for the chance to win an awesome prize!
I have a set of 72A Copic Ciao markers, oh and one E000!!! I love using them with digital images and stamps for cards, notebooks etc. I recently visited an art store in Melbourne who had a full set of Copics on show, which was the 1st time I'd seen them together it was amazing!!! I'd love to own them all.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win some.
I LOVE ALL THINGS COPIC! I think it should be a new word in the dictionary: COPIC (ln),(verb, noun)1-the greatest invention since sliced bread! 2- item most wanted by crazed card makers 3-marker or markers designed to make the non artist and artist alike color like a pro! (I could go on but think I will save some for later....)
ReplyDeleteI love my markers. I use the Sketch because they have all the colors I want!! I just bought the new pastel colors and they are great. In the past I was working with pencils and I still like that but I was missing the vibrent colors that the markers are giving my work. What I like most about coloring with my markers is that it gives me peace of mind!! I can color for ours and just listen to some music and have the time of my life and feeling all relaxed. Thanks for making such a great product!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have never used copic markers but have seen the beautiful creations from Debbie and want to learn to color like her! I like the idea that more instructors will be available across the country. So maybe I'll be fortunate enough to take a class or two. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love my Copics so much and i never give it away. I color before with Prismacolor pencils, they went out of my craftroom :-)))....
ReplyDeleteHugs from Germany
Heike
I love the Sketch markers, so easy to work with and love all the color choices, that it what is hard to choose the right color!! Still learning how to shade, but improving!!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE the sketch markers, with all of the colors choices..well, my motto is a girl can never have too many colors! LOL! And the sketch markers meet that need of mine. Copics are a girl's best friend! Even though you can get such awesome results with using even just 2 colors in a color family, still got to have them all, lol!
ReplyDeleteI am hooked on the sketch markers, because I love color (I could buy them just because all the colors look so beautiful on my desk, but I use them EVERY day.) It just makes me so happy and satisfied to see an image come alive after I've colored it with my Copics - I want to use them on practically every project! I use them on paper, fabric, anything I can get my hands on. They're an integral part of my papercrafting process!
ReplyDeleteI love my Copics for the amazing colors and depth of color that I can achieve with them. When I hold my colored image up to the light, it looks like stained glass...an amazing sight. I love the very light colors to add so much depth to an image that I cannot achieve with anything else! LOVE COPICS...and need more...ha-ha! And I need a certification class (South FL).
ReplyDeleteI *adore* my copic markers because of their versatility. I just love any opportunity to use them and am constantly practicing coloring techniques. I would love the ABS1!
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that every time I am drawn to a card on the blogs that I visit the coloring if always done with Copics. The richness of the colors and the blending produce such a work of art. It's almost as if I can reach out and touch the cards on the computer screen because the Copics make them jump off the screen. I can only imagine what the images look like in reality because I do not own any Copics yet. I say yet because once I save enough money I will purchase a set and can't wait to create with them.
ReplyDeleteCopic markers - there is no way to describe the awesomeness they hold! I have been using them for half a year and they haven't let me down yet. I love to see the vivid colors of them in other peoples artworks and how they bring out the best in mine. It is so much fun to color with them and blend, and sketch and they work great with other mediums, like watercolors, for example. I use sketch and original markers, and copic multiliners too (which are stunning!). Basically, Copic markers are my no.1 tool to make my illustrations with. Cheers to the person who invented COPIC! <3
ReplyDelete=]
Oh, I don't have any Copics yet but I love the results and techniques that can accomplished with them. Thanks for the opportunity to win some.
ReplyDeleteI use Copic Sketch markers and I LOVE them! I started with them a couple of months ago, I mainly use them with stamped images and I love the polish they give to a card.
ReplyDeleteI do not have any Copics, but I would love to have some, as the images that people make with them are so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI was first introduced to Copic markers while living in Anchorage, Alaska this past summer. I attended a stamp workshop at the ONLY stamp store in the Anchorage area and was hooked on these markers from the very first time I held them in my hand. I find that these markers not only blend extremely well, but they allow me to layer over and over if necessary without "gunking" up my paper. I so want to attend a certification workshop and hope that I can attend the one here in Florida in January. Thanks for assisting my addiction to Copic markers!
ReplyDeleteCopic markers are my favorite colouring medium. I use classic, sketch and ciao markers and sometimes airbrush with them. The new serie of ooo markers is not available overhere in the Netherlands. I would love to have them and use them for blending and skincolours. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI have been using my google reader to study all the beautiful work out there. This has educated me on the capabilities of the copic markers. I have started my collection and am slowly working my way through papers that are best and methods. Not there yet with some of the gorgeous products to hold up as goals, but I find I'm still "mass producing" most of my cards right now......but look forward as I learn the full potential of the copics. Not realizing the difference initially, I have started with the ciao markers, but that is probably the right level for a beginner :) thanks for the opportuntiy. I found this blog through one of the suppliers and have been following it since. Some great tutorials that I look forward to sitting down with.
ReplyDeletecongrats to all the DT memebers!
ReplyDeleteLove my copic markers!
Got my certification last spring and then purchased my first 36 ciao set. Love them!
The Copic Sketch markers started calling my name as soon as I learned about them on the Papertrey Ink site. I've been slowly building my collection of them, but have only just started to scratch the surface of their possibilities. Blending? Maybe my coloring will become more artistic...Airbrushing? Who would ever think I could do something like that. What's funny about my Copics journey is that shortly after discovering them, my brand new daughter-in-law who graduated with an art degree and now works at a scrapbooking store chain that just started carrying Copics has caught the Copics bug. Many of our recent phone conversations have to do with Copic markers and wishing we lived closer together so we could play with them together (and I could learn from her). One of the things I appreciate most about Copics since learning about them, is the wonderful online resource sharing that is available. The increased opportunity for in-person instruction is exciting (Yay - Kathy Sanders- Chicago area!)
ReplyDeleteI use the Copic Sketch markers. I love the ability to blend the colors together creating depth and dimension in the image that I am coloring. Would love to win the ABS-1. I have seen many people use it in their cards and love the soft efect that it has.
ReplyDeleteI am new to copics. I have collected a few sketch markers at my local Hobby Lobby. I love how much better my image looks compared to the pencils I was using.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to blogland Marianne!!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge Copic fan!! I use sketch markers and the airbrush system. Coloring is my favorite technique in making cards and these markers are fabulous! The shades, hues and blending capabilities all contribute to the striking results you can get with coloring images.
I wish I had some Copic markers! I am tired of the way my coloring comes out on my projects and want to take my stamping to the next level. It will be a long while before I get to your team's level- what talent there! Thanks for this awesome giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI first tried copics at Scrapfest and loved them! But the best part was actually meeting you and Debbie Olson. Thank you both for sharing and teaching this great product.
ReplyDeleteI have just started with copics. I didn't know where to start, so I joined a club where I get 6 markers each month that are chosen for their ability to blend well together. I am loving the rich, vibrant colors!
ReplyDeleteI'm having a great time with the markers especially after the certification class!
ReplyDeleteCari Cummings
cacummings@chartermi.net
I've never had or tried the Copic markers, but after reading the card making blogs, especially Michelle's, I'm thinking I'm really missing a wonderful opportunity to enhance my cards. I'd love to be a winner, learn to use them, and become a Copic advocate!
ReplyDeleteI have been reading so much about the Copic Markers and have been wanting to try them. Thank you for the chance to enter!
ReplyDeleteI love copic markers because they are so easy to use and they blend beautifully. I have about 10 sketch markers in my collection, but am slowly adding more each weekend.
ReplyDeleteRonda C.
I bought my first Copic markers 2 weeks ago and just love them. I have 3 skin tone colors and a "O" blender marker. I was enthralled with the beautiful coloring I have seen on the blogs and knew that I would have to try them. I have the Sketch markers and would love to win some more!
ReplyDeletesandyh502001 at yahoo dot com
I love Copics because they are easy to blend and produce wonderful results. Love this blog too!
ReplyDeleteAfter coloring blue pumpkins for Halloween, I have done blue skies and blue snowflakes and blue penguins Can you guess my first 4 copic markers were shades of light purple to blue to aqua. You can go and see my blue pumpkins on my blog and you will see how everything seems to be shades of blue. Hoping to get a few more markers soon!
ReplyDeleteI own around 130 Copics, about half Originals and half Sketch plus one odd Ciao. I just love using them and have had some them for over 17 years and they still work, just a little refill here or there. I love that I can colour so quickly with them as I am very impatient... Would love to own all the colours!
ReplyDeleteI have a few copics & I love my them. I love learning about all the aspects of shading and light. Copics has added a whole new level of awesome to stamping and making cards for me.
ReplyDeleteI have been having a ball coloring in images for cards! I never like images that needed to be colored because they were so much work- now I enjoy it. Copic Makes it fun!
ReplyDeleteI don't have copics but I would love to try them out..you have to love how vibrant the beautiful images I see out there are.
ReplyDeleteI love my copics! I use them for coloring stamped images, embellishments and flowers. I'm so happy for the new team and I'm hoping that a certification class will come to Idaho!!! *hint hint* ;)
ReplyDeleteThe more I use my Copics, the more I love them. I would love to be able to add to my collection
ReplyDeleteI love my Copics and use them almost exclusively when I color. I love the small tip that allows me to color in the tiniest of places and the fact that they can be very forgiving and wonderful when shading and adding dimension.
ReplyDeleteI only own a few ciao and sketch markers and have just started playing with them, hopefully I will improve ... I love what I see on all the blogs where they have used this medium to colour in their images ... I only hope to be as good as some of these ladies one day ... The airbrushing looks so nice on a lot of the backgrounds ... something to strive for ... an airbrushing system!!!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted copic markers. I haven't been able to fit them into my budget yet but maybe this giveaway will get me started. :) I have a feeling once I start on them I won't want to stop. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI think Debbie Olson is one of the reasons I got into Copics... just seeing all the beautiful work she's done using rubber stamps and markers. I don't have a great story... I just really liked the cards she and others made using the markers and it sounded like they would be easy to work with. I started out with Chiaos so that's what I've been getting...
ReplyDeleteLove your great tips... I am a visual person so love seeing the steps of different techniques. TFS!
Copics have been on my wishlist for some time. I only have a few that I use to highlight and make backgrounds with. I have decided that the best way for me to collect is to budget for a color group each month. I plan to start in 2010 and appreciate that so many of your vendors offer "color family" choices.
ReplyDeleteLOVE copics! Blend beautifully, no lines...just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteAnd welcome to ATL Colleen!
Absolutely love my copic markers...they are the bomb...would love to have them all.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see someone in the midwest..YAY!! Now maybe I can get certified too.... I LOVE my Copics! The sketch markers are what I use. I Love how easy they are to use and the vibrant beautiful results you get with them. i would really like to add to my collection..
ReplyDeleteThere is no better color medium than Copic markers. I used to dislike coloring on my cards because with regular markers you could see streaks because they don't blend very well. Now I use Sketch Copics and absolutely love to color. I love how you can blend and shade with them for a very realistic look and also how you achieve a soft subtle effect or continue to add color for a very brightly colored image. Thanks for a chance to win more Copics for my collection.
ReplyDeleteCopic products are not only for the high end artist, but also for the beginning dabbler. With many art products, you must be fairly adept to create beautiful work. With Copics however, they do much of the work for you and the end results are amazing!
ReplyDeleteWell, I am totally addicted to my Copic markers, and am still adding to my collection. I came across them after reading about them on a message board, and had to try them. Then I took a certification class with Marianne in New Orleans earlier this year, and haven't stopped "playing" since. I've been fortunate enough to meet many new friends, due to my usage of these bad boys. I can't ever see myself using anything else.
ReplyDeleteI love my copic originals to colour in stamped images :) I only started to play with them in June but I soooo love them :)
ReplyDeletehugss Ria
I am new to copic but once I saw how these amazing markers worked I was hooked! Ninety-something markers later I don't regret the investment! I use my copic markers to color in line images for cards I make. I have sketch and ciao but prefer sketch since they have more colors! The thing I love best about these markers is their amazing blending capabilities that gives such depth to the image you color. AWESOME!!
ReplyDeleteI love using Copics on my stamped line art images because they make blending and shading so easy! They have made it more fun to colour!
ReplyDeleteRobin
Congrats, Melanie. I'm sure you're excited about your new position. I personally LOVE copics and have been 'collecting' sets of them for several months. I love the variety of colors, the blending ability and vibrance of the color tones. They sit proudly on the table in my studio and I look forward to using them daily.
ReplyDeleteOh I love copic markers.I am a beginner. I have a lot to learn when it comes to blending them. Congrats on the 2010 blog team. I am excited to see there is somebody in the chicago area too.Whoo Hoo!!
ReplyDeletethanks for the inpiration you give us.

I want to learn more about using Copic Markers to color and shade faces so that I can color drawings of my grandchildren. The markers seem ideal for this because of their ability to produce smooth color gradients and the range of hues and intensities of color available. The variety of tip sizes and types is also a huge plus.
ReplyDeleteI love how the copic markers make my cards look like I am a real artist. I love the sketch. I purchsed the ABS a while back. Still in the package. Still learning how to use my markers. Trying to collect all of the sketchmarkers
ReplyDeleteI am so surprised by Copic markers. I have never been able to stamp with open line images because I always felt my work came out like a kindergardner's. I was skeptical to try copics because I thought I was coloring challenged and would never be able to do beautiful work like some of the amazing work I see on all the different blogs. But once I watched a few tutorials and read all the great info here on your blog, I got the right paper and ink, I was well on my way to creating the most gorgeous cards I have ever made. I have been converted and I am now a Copic true beliver- You too can color! With a little practice you can color the most professional looking dynamic images. I have received so many compliments I can't believe it. I love the sketch and the ciao markers and can't wait to get some more colors to round out my collection, maybe try airbrushing. Now I won't even consider buying a stamp image that I can't color in. Thank you Copic for giving me a superior product I can use in my stamping and scrapbooking. Best investment I ever made. I love COPICS!

I have one of the 72 Sketch marker sets and some single sketch and ciao markers. I would luv to purchase more. I would like to eventually own the entire line of Copic Sketch markers because I luv them sooo much. They are easy to use and blend so well. I use my markers with my stamped images on mostly cards. I also have the ABS and luv that because you can make the beautiful backgrounds and you can even colour paper flowers.
ReplyDeleteMy email: lorittalo@hotmail.com

I don't have any copics yet, but I love the enless possibilities of colors and how smoothly they blend together.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to learn that I can take online course on how to use my copic markers!!!
ReplyDeleteOnce I understand the process, I'll be sure these will be my all time favorite tools.
I want some!
ReplyDeleteI only have 4 copics and they are not in the same color family, so I have not had a chance to work on blending. I have been unemployed for some time so would sure love to win some Copics. I don't want to miss out on all the fun.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog awhile ago and periodically check your tutorials. You make it seem so easy. I haven't tried the Copics yet, but am hoping to get some for x-mas.
ReplyDeleteI love playing with my Copics even though as a Newbie I am a little on the rustic side. I have fun with my Ciao toys but am starting to look at the ABS, as well. I love, love, love how soft and subtle the backgrounds are with the ABS and would love to win one of these wonders.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
At the advice/pressure of my dear card-making friends....I tried their Copics.....oh dear...I am totally addicted now. I just love colouring, and these markers are so amazing in colour and blendability! I daydream daily of my next visit to the art store to add to my growing collection of Ciao Copics :)))
ReplyDeleteI love copics because of their smooth flat application of color. Color IDs stay the same for years and there is no worry if I run out of a color I got 5 years ago I can just buy the same marker and its the same exact color. I <3 copics! :D wheeeee!!
ReplyDeleteI love my copics! They are easy to use, have a great color selection and they blend super easily!
ReplyDeleteI use my copics almost every day for colouring. I love them and would LOVE an ABS
ReplyDeleteI love Copic markers because I can color in images and make them look professional even though I am not ;o) because of the ability to blend and the awesome classes/tutorials available. And it is important with my family. We are a biracial family in a white world. I have been coloring in images in books and on wrapping paper for years. Now I love that I can easily make cards and images for scrapbooks for my children that look like them (be it african american, biracial, or caucasian...or any race at all!!) Thanks Copic, for recognizing that peach and dark brown doesn't cover it all!!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Holly
Copics came by one day
ReplyDeleteThey all looked inviting,
so I bought one to play.
The first was a brown
and he said with a frown,
"is that all you can do
can I at least have a family of two".
So off I went to my crafters shop
and got me a light and dark green.
Then I went to brown
and showed him what I've found.
he said really loud,
"I'm free!!
Now I can run through woods, and create nature scenes,
and perhaps create the most beautiful tree
all because now I have a family of three".
This is really how alive these markers come :)
Thanks for the chance to adding more to browns family (hehe).
I love Copic markers. I am slowly learning how to use them. I am so glad you now have someone who will be teaching in the Midwest.
ReplyDeleteI will love to have Copics. I have used them at my local stamp store and just love them!
ReplyDeleteMarianne, I love your blog! As a copic newbie, less than one month into ownership, I am totally in love with them. I recently bought some Gina K Luxury card stock and life in copic land is much better. I am so glad that I invested in these markers. I use the sketch markers for coloring only. I have not even looked into the airbrush system, yet! Thanks for this great giveaway too!
ReplyDeleteI love my Copic markers and Spica glitter pens. You might say I'm obsessed. Normally they hold pride of place on my craft desk, but when we have visitors staying over (like now), I've had to pick my favourite 36 (plus a couple in the side pocket) to put in my Copic wallet and they are right beside my bed. They're the last thing I see when I turn out the light at night, LOL. Does that make me pathetic? (hubby says "yes")
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about all the new
ReplyDeleteinstructors. I try to find all the
blogs I can that highlight the
use of Copic markers. I have been
stamping for years and have loved
the cards where the image was colored. When I found out about Copics I was overjoyed. I am now interested in learning about color and how to choose the right combination for my project. I love when things match and was excited to learn that I could color my ribbon with Copics!! Fun, fun, fun!
I love my copics!! I like the way they blend and the wide variety of colors. I have been collecting the sketch markers and the air bruch is at the top of my wish list.
ReplyDeleteI also love my Copics..... In fact, I am using them now. Thank you for a chance to win more.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I love them? Let me count the ways... blending, shading, the ability to color on dang near anything, need a 3rd color? - mix two markers together, need a lighter color? - add '0', need a matching shade of ribbon? - color what you have (my fav is to spray it with the ABS), I could go on and on and on... lol!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of the Copic markers! I am drooling over that sketch set right now! I don't own any Copic markers (yet) and am dying to win this set! I know my scrapping and card making range will expand with the use of a more versatile marker set. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love most about the Copics is that they don't leave marker lines when you color and even if you don't do all the beautiful shading, you can still color images that look great. I'm still on the learning curve for the shading but if I want to just color something one color, it still looks ok. I have a bunch of Sketch markers but am always looking for more colors and will start working on collecting the refills next. Thanks for a great product that has enriched the stampers lives.
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say, I love my Copics. I just got introduced to them over the summer, and now I have over a 100 of the sketch and some various refills. I started with Ciaos, but have passed them onto my daughter...Since then, I have started a blog and gotten to know some very fab. people. I use my sketch for making cards, and just about anything I can think of. I am also so happy that there will be classes in Washington state. I can not wait to get to attend a class. I am sooo obcessed with these wonderful markers. Thank you for everything, and keep them coming...lol...Lisa G at l_gobea@yahoo.com or gobeagirl.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I was directed to your site! I am a Copic Sketch newbie and I was told to come and drool over your creations to learn some Copic techniques! I only have 6 markers (at the moment) so a set of 12 would be wonderful for my collection! You have some great instructions and I will definitely be a frequent visitor!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I have been drooling over Copics for quite awhile now! I only have 7 Copic sketch markers and it's so hard to see those beautiful packs of them and not get them. I working on saving up to expand my collection although then I'll have to save to have more room to display and use them. ; ) Thanks for the great give away!!
ReplyDeleteI have long admired and envied people who colored beautifully with markers. I just never could get mine to look like theirs. I always had streaks and it would end up looking like a child had colored! Then someone told me to use another alcohol based marker and while I had a little better results than the regular markers, my coloring was still pretty awful. I gave up and just colored everything with colored pencils or water colors. When I started seeing all the beautiful cards being colored with copic markers I was sad that they were done with markers because I just knew I'd never be a marker user. But, the lovely work I kept seeing pulled me in and I finally decided to try out copics myself. I bought three markers just to practice, but I didn't have much faith they'd be any different. Imagine my surprise and delight when I saw how beautifully the colors blended and NO STREAKS! Finally I had found a marker that let me color like a true artist. Needless to say, I was hooked. That was about a year ago and I now have over 100 markers. I love them all, and I'd love to win!
ReplyDeleteThere is so much to say about Copics. I started using them because I wanted something that would bring my images to life. It took a lot of practice, but I am really enjoying myself just colouring images (stamped or drawn). I have been saving for the ABS, because I would love to give my stamped images a scene to play on!
ReplyDeleteI visit Sharon Harnist web site daily just to read about how she colors her images. I only have 3 sketch markers so far and have many more of them on my wish list as finances at this time have limited my purchases. I so want an ABS for Christmas..... Maybe I will get lucky and win this wonderful prize.
ReplyDeleteI wish I may, I wish I might, have all the Copics I dream of tonight!
ReplyDeleteMy new collection is really small, with total markers numbering 5 in all!
I surfed the web from end to end, trying to learn and comprehend.
I really have regressed to a child, where coloring is fun and the colors are wild!
So if I happen to win this set, Will I be happy? YOU BET!
Copic markers are da'bomb! I don't know how I EVER lived without them in my life. I am addicted. It's an addiction I will never give up :) One day...I hope to have all the colors. Heck...I just might have to throw a party when that day come. Yes...that day WILL come! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love Copic Markers becuase of their blendability! One day I'll be as good as the DT! :-) I don't have that many markers right now, but my collection is slowly growing. Thanks for the chance to win some goodies!
ReplyDeleteI want Copic markers so badly! My girlfriend bought them recently and she swears by them, too. She colors EVERYTHING now! I just don't have enough money to start out with them. What a wonderful opportunity this is. Thank you and congratulations to the new Regional Instructors!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe that Copic's were around for so many years and I didn't have them! I now use the Sketch markers and have made beautiful cards with them. My collection is growing! Thanks for all the wonderful tutorials....I print them off and I think I have about 300 pages in a binder!! Yes, I am obsessed with Copic's.
ReplyDeleteI just love copics--congrats to the new reps. I was at a certifiaction class with Sherrie--she's one amazing girl. Love her work, and she taught me alot. The class was tons of fun and now I'm practicing. I love copis--they are so versatile and have so many possiblities. I'll never get bored of them.
ReplyDeleteI am a newbie to copics and so am still learning, would love to take a class to learn more about them. They are just really fun to work with.
ReplyDeleteYou are an amazing artist. I do not own Copics (play money has needed to be spent elsewhere) but I hope to be able to have enough pennies collected to give them a try some day.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your creations and skills and knowledge.
BTW - the bottom blogger on your list does NOT have a post about this contest.
ReplyDeleteMy girlfriend bought Copic Markers recently and I am quite amazed and a bit envious. She uses digital stamps, prints them out and colors them with Copic Markers! These markers are AMAZING! I think I would use my stamps a lot more if I used Copic Markers! What a wonderful opportunity this is. It sue would make my birthday/holiday very special this year! (I’m going to be 50).
I have a collection of Sketch pens and I enjoy using them with rubber stamped images. I got a taste of using the airbrush system and it was fun. I enjoy reading any tips on using these pens.
ReplyDeleteOooo i love my copics they are just the best, and on my xmas wish list is the airbrush system .. soo please snata i have been good this year hehe
ReplyDeletehugs trak xx
I learned about copic markers from seeing other bloggers use them. I was amazed at how beautiful the designs looked and decided to give them a try. I bought five colors to make my Christmas cards and fell in love with them. I found myself buying one at a time until Mother's Day when my girls gave me over 2 dozen! It was the best gift!
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing all the wonderful creations colored with Copics on the designers blogs, I HAD to jump in! I am slowly building my collection, and each time I get a new one, my inspiration grows! They are the MOST treasured tool I own! The different techniques I've learned using them has made me feel like a true artist! There is NOTHING that compares to their blending and coloring capabilities. They truly make any image come alive! I only wish I had found out about them sooner! :)

Wow! Glad to see that there is more of an opportunity to be Copic certified....I know I'm certifiable, but that is a different situation ;)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE My Copics ! I haven't been coloring with them on my stamped images for a year yet though I have learned so much by just playing with them and reading this blog ! I would love the ABS airbrush to expand my " playfulness " :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat DT ladies !
I don't think my comment went through. :(
ReplyDeleteI salivate when I see the airbrush system - I've been pining over it for a year now! Sad, eh?
Thanks for the chance to win!!
I am new to copics but have just purchased some of the sketch ones and am very nervous about using them LOL but have been watching all tutorials I can find and my first projectwas so much fun that now that is all I want to do LOL So many colors to choose from and so little money its a true dilemma!! LOL Love them!! I have a muscle disease and arthritis and they really make it less tiresome, less painful to work on projects because they flow so easily. Glad I found them!!
ReplyDeleteLana
Oh how exciting! I only have about three copics, but I am thrilled with them!
ReplyDeleteI love that Copic markers are so vibrant and versatile. Once I purchased a few, I needed many more and have been slowly accumulating a collection. I love this blog and its tutorials because I continue to want to practice new techniques even though I was lucky enough to take a Copic Certification class with you last winter.
ReplyDeleteI love how Copics really make me look like an artist. I'm just a Copic beginner, but I can't believe the results I get on my images! I really think they are magic. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I currently use Sketch markers and would love to give the ABS a try!
Yay for all the new stuff going on! I am so excited that Copic classes will now be even more accessible!!! I started my Copic love affair a couple years ago but only really learned how to use them this year for blending and creating the amazing effects they can! I have a handful of markers but adore each and every one of them hoping to someday have the entire collection - yep, I dream big! I use them for all my card making and scrapbooking needs and have even used them a time or two in my jewelry making!!! Thanks for an opportunity to win and most of all Marianne, thanks for a fabulous blog full of inspirational and educational pieces!!
ReplyDeleteWahoo for Copics!!! I've been using them for a bit under a year and still an a novice. I love the ability to blend colors and not leave any tell tale marker lines. They are so worth the investment and my other markers have been gathering dust since they moved in. I'd love to get certified and will keep an eye out for a class in my area. Congrats to all the instructors!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the copics - unfortunately only have 12 right now, but more are on my wish list! I am so glad you are back to the land of blogging - missed you!!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't taken the plunge yet and tried Copics. They're on my wish list for Christmas though. Hopefully I've been a good girl and Santa will be nice to me. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love using my copic ciaos! They make coloring my stamps and scrapbooking items so much more fun.
ReplyDeleteI do not have any copic markers but they are on my wish list this year (hope Santa is listening)! I was always the child in class that wasn't happy with just the 8 crayons in a box - I always wanted the box of 64 colors!, which makes me LOVE that copic has so many shades of the color spectrum to choose from. Thanks for the chance to color my world !!
ReplyDeleteWhen I discovered Copic markers I was a little apprehensive, but once I tried them, I was hooked! The colors are rich and vibrant and when I received a card one year for Christmas that had been colored with Copics, I swore it was a store bought card! The colors are perfect!
ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting to hear all the new teachers you have added! I am a TOTAL Copic Addict! I am well on my way to housing every color in my marker family! I never realized how much I LOVE to color until my venture with Copics began....now you can't keep my Copic markers out of my hands, I think I would cook with a Copic in hand coloring if it were possible! hee hee! The colors Copic has are absolutely amazing and the blending and hues/shades you can achieve with the markers is phenomenal! I am so proud to say that I am Copic Certified and can't wait to share my excitement with others someday while teaching about these wonderful products! I am hoping to add the ABS to my collection VERY soon and then will probably be air brushing EVERYTHING in site...my hubby better look out or his new workshop will be airbrushed pink!

ReplyDeleteI love my Copic Sketch Markers. They give me the ability to look professional. As a non-artist, I suddenly feel like one!
ReplyDeleteI only jsut started using Ccopic caio markers and I love them. I can't wait to expand my colloection. I find your site to be great for a newbie like me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win.
designingdms@aol.com
One of my favourite features is definitely the blending. No more line-y shading, now everything is a smooth transition.
ReplyDeleteI am addicted to my copic markers...I love all the colors and the easy in coloring with them and the fantastic results.....and Debbie Olsen made me do it.... LOL
ReplyDeleteI know that I can not resist the airbrush much longer..... I did get a few of the Spica gel pens and they are fabulous....

One day I wwould love to take the Certification class! I have been learning by watching online videos and I have been able to take a few classes where I live.
ReplyDeleteI have my Copic's sitting on my desk waiting for me....I have told everyone that November is my month to do nothing but Christmas cards and I have a couple of stamps I am looking forward to using.
I have the new colours in Sketch however, I would really, really love to get into the airbrushing! I have watched Heraldine at Be Creative and I am in love!
Cathy Hughes
When I first started stamping and tried colouring using other mediums (pencils, felts, etc.) I just wasn't very impressed with the results. Images had no dimension. Since starting with copics I can't stop colouring and love the effects you can get. I said I wasn't going to get into these because of the cost but once I started I was hooked.
ReplyDeleteI do not own any copic markers, but am very envious of those who do. They are definitely on my wish list for Christmas, as I love the awesome color selection, and how the colors allow blending to look so natural.
ReplyDeleteI have heard so many raving about these markers, but have not had a chance to ever try any. Turn me into an addict by letting me win my first set!
ReplyDeleteI loved the copics the minute I saw them for the first time. Also took an online class with Colleen and since then haven't stopped. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI am a Copic wanna-be! I haven't purchased my first one yet, but I think about it every time I check your blog. I just wish I had the TIME to really learn how to use them!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see I'm not the only one that has yet to own a Copic Marker. Several of my friends have them and I am addicted to the blogs that feature them and their coloring. Copic markers are on the top of my Christmas list! For so long I have wanted to color beautifuly like the images I see in the magazines. I LOVE the tutorials you all put out on coloring with your markers. No one else has taken the time to show such great step by step by color instruction. I just can't wait to get my hands on these markers!
ReplyDeleteWaving at Kathy from Creative Pals...........
ReplyDeleteI have taken one of Kathy's classes and was totally amazed at how much I learned from her. I am still practicing with my copics and realize that practice makes great cards.
thanks much
I am a dedicated card maker and absolutely, positively LOVE the craft and all that it entails. I don't have Copics yet [financial constraints, ya know...] but would truly appreciate winning some so I could add another dimension to this wonderful craft!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try Copics. I've read tutorials and visited several blogs including this one and drool over what others do with these beauties. Thanks for the chance to win some!
ReplyDeleteI wish that I had Copic markers because of all the wonderful projects I've seen using them. They seem to have the best colors and blending abilities of any markers on the market. I would really love to win my very first Copic markers on this blog!
ReplyDeleteJes
I am a confessed Copic addict! I too have been Copic certified by Sherry here in Canada this past summer and I have just taught my first Copics related project class here in my home town. I would love to add a few more Copics to my ever growing collection. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI new to Copic but love them. I hope you have training coming ti the Kansas or Kansas city area, would love to learn more. I love the hints and tips on coloring!
ReplyDeletekcscrapper4u@everestkc.net
I love designing cards with Copics whenever I visit my best friend, who swears by them. I have been drooling over them ever since she first demonstrated them to me. Pick me! Pick me!!
ReplyDeleteFun giveaway! I only have a few copics and want to expand my collect.
ReplyDeleteMe? I was originally a prismacolor pencil and Gamsol gal. (I still love them but just don't grab them as often) When I found them, I rediscovered that I loved to color! Must be the kid in me. THEN along came copic markers. Well, I thought I would NEVER get THEM! They were too expensive for me. BUT after seeing the bright saturated colors, I decided that I would get a couple and try to play with them. I haunted e-bay for a while and after a successful card sale I had a little money to play with. I won a 72 marker set (not an A, B, or C set) and I was on my way. They came and I started to color right away. AUGH!! My results were really awful. I thought there must be something I don't know. THEN I found your blog and everything started to make sense. The blender became a pusher and not a blender. Those light colors that I thought I'd NEVER use became the most important in my set. Without your blog, I would have resold them within a week! Thank you, Marianne! AND I love to color even more than ever now!
ReplyDeleteLately, I have been using my Copics a lot to color my embellishments. I love having my embellishments match and it's so easy with Copics.
ReplyDeleteI've been learning how to use the airbrush system. Love it for backgrounds and 3D things (like flowers and snowflakes)!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the new team - I'm always inspired by these ladies!
Welcome to the new instructors!
ReplyDeleteI am a kindergarten teacher and love to color, with Copics I love it even more, because of the end result. I am officially addicted to my copic Markers!! I love to sit and color. It is very theraputic! I play with different color combintions I now have over 100 images colored now I need to do something with them!!
I am a recent Copic convert, but now I can't imagine how I made cards and colored stamped images without them! The quality is top notch and the result (even if you are a beginner like me) is stunning! Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI just love the copics!! I use them for about all of my coloring. I love the blending and how the colors just stand out. The airbrushing is terrific tool and love using it.
ReplyDeleteI meet you at a class in Yorba Linda last year and learned so much and even won a couple of copics.
I so need to get more of these great markers.
Congrats to everyone! Love the Copics because of their versatility and the ability to airbrush just makes them that much more fun!
ReplyDeleteHad my class with Marianne in charleston, sc. Loved it and learned a lot about copics and the proper way to shade! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI watched Sherrie Siemens latest Copics video. It was fantastic.
ReplyDeleteShe has inspired me to practice using my Copics some more!!!
I need to find a close place to take some classes. Will be looking for local workshops.
ReplyDeleteRobbie
Seeing all the lovely Copic creations out there has really gotten me hooked. I'm looking forward to seeing the work of the new designers, as well as those I'm already familiar with.
ReplyDeleteI'm new to Copics & s-l-o-w-l-y learning to color/blend with them on digi images & stamps. I LOVE that they can make even a "Kindergartner" like me feel that one day I'll color like a pro by absorbing your wonderful lessons and through practice, practice, practice!!!
ReplyDeleteI love my copics because they have such rich color and blend so well
ReplyDelete:)
Wow! What great prizes!
ReplyDeleteI use Copic Sketch Markers for coloring stamped images on hand-made greeting cards. I've been making cards for over 15 years, and have gone through many types of markers. They all either fade, wear out, or dry out so quickly that the true cost was astronomical. When I started using Copics last year, I found not only the solution to those problems, but the ability to truly create the color shading effect that makes each and every card stunning. They've really opened up a whole new way to create cards, and have revitalized my creativity!
congrats to all - what talent. I love to use my copics but I only have one set *boo* thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy mom got me hooked on using the sketch markers and i have enjoyed using them on my cards. After taking a certification class with Marrianne I love them so much more. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI have just started with the sketch markers and am in love. Finally I have a few markers that help me with my love of coloring!
ReplyDeleteOh boy, a chance to get more copics!!!! I can hardly wait to see if I've won! Thnaks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI've just become familiar with the Sketch markers. I'm amazed at how they blend. I didn't even know it was possible to blend markers. I guess I've still got a lot to learn.
ReplyDeleteI have some Copics, but am no Copic Master. In addition to coloring stamped images, I love that they can be used to chage the color of a metal brad, clear buttons, strip of staples, etc.
ReplyDeleteI am new to using copics but love the variety of colors
ReplyDeleteI am sooooo in love with my Copic markers (I have both Sketch & Caio)! One of my favorite childhood pastimes was coloring with Crayola Crayons. That passion has been replaced by Copics (although I do miss the crayon smell…LOL).
ReplyDeleteI am mainly a cardmaker. I began rubber stamping with friends over 15 years ago & had tired of the usual ways to color my images so my stamps just sat in boxes…….unused. Then about 2 years ago I sold them all…..well over 1,000. I thought I would never stamp again.
A few months ago a dear friend introduced me to the wonderful world of Copics & I was hooked. It has renewed my love for coloring images. Copic markers blend so beautifully together & bring my images to life. No more crayons for me. My Copics are the only way I “color”. They make me feel like a “real” artist!
Since then I have been buying both clear & rubber stamps as well as digi images. My collection of stamps & Copic markers is growing fast (a girl can never have too many of either one). Some day I would love to own the airbrush system. It would be a perfect way to give my cards that beautiful finished touch.
Thank you so much for the offer.
Huggies ~
Sharron
Copics are so adorable : there is a great choice of colors and endless possibilities.
ReplyDeleteI hope, that a wish will come true and I´ll get my first Copics at CHRISTMAS.
Before I found Copics I wanted to try coloring so I bought an entire set of markers from a big stamp company (you know which one!) and when I tried to color and blend with them, they wouldn't blend and the paper pilled up in the process. The results were just horrible! I instantly hated the markers and regretted spending so much money on them. The markers also made me hate coloring (because I couldn't do it nicely) and so I only bought solid stamps that didn't require coloring.
ReplyDeleteAfter I started seeing people (like some of your team members!) using Copics, I jumped right in and bought a whole bunch of Ciaos. I was able to color and blend and blend until I got the look I wanted on my very first try!! I was thrilled that I actually could achieve decent results (with the right tools, of course!) and I completely fell in love with coloring!!
Now almost every single stamp I buy requires coloring and I use my Copics on most of my projects!! I LOVE my Copics and wouldn't give them up for anything!!
I own a tonne of Copics, got certified at CHA in January 2009 and right now, I use copics as a colourful display on my desk!
ReplyDeleteSad, eh? I love them tough... just need to be inspired to colour! And I wish I had more confidence to play with them... and do it well!
I have a question... Should we store our copics upright, or lying down? Mine have been leaking, and I'm thinking it's because they are lying down in a box. Should I get something that will keep them standing. You can either click on my name to get to my blog, or email me at Jazzyjess49@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch for all your instructions. Jessica
I use Ciao markers while card making. They are simply the best coloring media I have found. Easy to use and the results are superb. I just love 'em. Thanks for the chance to win. CIAO for now!
ReplyDeleteWhat amazes me is when I first bought the Copics I was a beginner and had no problem with them coloring stamped images. As I have improved I've seen how versatiled the Copics are. As I improve even more, the Copics will be right there with me.
ReplyDeleteFor my choice of bolg candy, Either would tickle me pink! Or should I say RV04?
Sharon L
Thank you for all the information you provide on your blog! Since the first day I held a Copic and this new addiction was formed, i've scoured your blog for the wealth of information it holds. Copics absolutely Color my World!! I'm in love!
ReplyDeleteLove the stamps. My favorite holiday memory is being TOTALLY suprised bo a beautiful hand made ( even each shingle ) doll house my step dad made me. It was amazing and shocking they pulled if off without me finding out.
ReplyDeleteI only have about 6 makers, and I just started playing with them, but I am signed up for the class in Columbia and ready to fully utilize the markers. I know the products are high quality and I truly think copics take the finished project to the next level. I am also amazed by the community that has grown up around using Copics in stamping.
ReplyDeleteI resisted Copic's for so long then I bought 25 in a Ebay auction and the 'Obsession' started. I started playing with these and begged everyone I knew for images I could color. That's when I realized you need a special ink for the Copic's images but that didn't stop me I continued coloring and following Marianne's blog. I took certification classes in April with Sally just a few weeks after major back surgery. I learned so much in that class just fulfilling my obsession even farther. I now have 169 colors in Sketch, Ciao, Original and I even have one in Wide. I dedicate at least one hour a day to Copic's coloring, blending and technique'. I may not be the best but I love coloring with Copic's and guarentee once you work with them for a while you'll feel the obsession also, I cannot endorse Copic's enough, its the best thing to hit the Craft world.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
Jeanine

I didn't think I needed/wanted Copics until I saw you at a make and take in SLC. Wow, it was so fun coloring with these markers! They add a richness that I love on my projects. Thanks for coming to Utah and showing us what Copics are all about, even for beginners like me.
ReplyDeleteI don't own any Copics..but hope to soon....I am somewhat in awe of them..but am sure with pratice I can get the hang of it...one reason I want them is there are are many colors to choose from....I need to start figuring out which ones to get first....thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI use my Copics markers to color my stamps. I love using digital stamps and found that when using a copy printer the ink doesn't bleed.
ReplyDeleteC is for Colour - and there are so MANY colours in the Copic lines.
ReplyDeleteO is for Outstanding quality and richness of the colours.
P is for the Pained expression on my husband's face when he sees I bought more markers.
I is for I love Copic markers!
C is for (you guessed it) COPIC - yay Copic!
I don't have any Copics yet but they are on my Christmas list. I love the beautiful coloring that people are doing with Copics. I can always tell they were used because the color is so vibrant. Thanks for the opportunity to enter your giveaway!
ReplyDeleteDiane
i love the way the air brushing looks. i only have one copic, a med skin tone. i would love to be able to play and blend with more.
ReplyDeleteI love my Sketch markers! The variety of colors and how they blend together is just awesome! I still have so much to learn and thanks to you Marianne, you make me look like a professional!
ReplyDeleteI have resisted using Copics until Summer CHA where I had the opportunity to color with them and just fell in love with them....Now I am saving my pennies for my first set....Who knows maybe I could win my first set of prized babies!!!!!!
ReplyDeletecongratulations on being a regional instructor, your talent, no surprise. I use my copics for creating greeting cards, do not have the airbrush sy. Copics give such a vibrant bending of colors.
ReplyDeleteI need more copics to play with
Copics, copics ... what can I say ? Copics make my cards beautiful ... what's what people say.
ReplyDeleteIt is because of Debbie Olson that I am a Copic lover. I owned a bunch and decided that they just weren't the marker that everyone said they were. I posted on a forum about my dislike of them and Debbie responded very kindly and told me to give them a chance and it took practice. I emailed Debbie several times with questions and she very kindly answered all my questions and every single email I sent her.
ReplyDeleteI had decided that I was going to sell my markers on an auction site because I just wasn't getting the hang of them. I finally took a class at a local rubber stamp store and it literally changed my stamping life. The woman teacher was so thorough with instructing us about how they work differently from other "typical" markers.
I am so glad that I hung in there and learned how to use them. They are the best thing out there. I am so pleased now with the results that I get with the markers that I have.
I adore my copics! I have tried several other brands of markers and copics, by far, last the longest. The ink also lays down more smoothly than any other brand I have tried.
ReplyDeleteSpica Glitter Pens by Copic are the only Copics I have and thankfully, I LOVE them! Can't get enough of them! Long for even more colors! Use them every chance I get! And one day, I do hope to add some Copic Sketch markers to my desk to play with. Visiting bloggers around the world has me regularly ooo'ing and ahhhh'ing at their creations colored with their Copics and I want to play too! :>
ReplyDeleteHello from Idaho. I LOVE MY COPICS! They make me feel artistic - even when I know I am not. I love how well the colors blend together - and the blender pen is my lifesaver when I go outside the lines. Will never color with anything else ever again!
ReplyDeleteCopic markers bring back my childhood and the joys of coloring. The sketch markers are a reach away on my craft table. I love how the vibrant colors bring my stamped images to life. Copic markers make it easy to blend and shadow, making me look like an artist! The airbrush system is so easy to use and I love the effects I can create with this tool. Copic markers have been a great investment. I am steadily building my collection and exploring the artistic possibilities with these one of a kind tools.
ReplyDeleteI love the way these markers can be blended. Now I just need to get better at it!
ReplyDeleteI have question for you all. Do the caps fit snugly on all your markers? Until recently, I had 1 or 2 with lightly loose caps, but I didnt worry about it. But this week I got a batch by mail order and 6 or 8 of the caps are lose, some quite loose. Will my markers dry out? Should I try to return/exchange them? thanks for your help
ReplyDeleteI have stamped for years and the copic markers are the 1st time I really wanted to get out and color with them all the time. The color is so sharp and the shading you can do looks great. A class is a great place to learn how to use them and to learn different techniques. I am sure I am not done learning and having fin with the copic markers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute card! I love the effect Copics can have. Right now I only have some pale gray & blue for shadows and pale skin colors for skin. I hope to add to my collection as I learn more!
ReplyDeleteI love my Copic Sketch markers because my Copics give me the tools to let someone know how much I care about them when I make them a card. I don't have to get caught up in the details or get worried because I'm uncertain if someone will like what I do. The copics work flawlessly, every time.
ReplyDeleteI make my own cards and I love that my Copic markers will match any cardstock or pattern paper. The colors are rich, true, and soft if needed.
ReplyDeleteI am very proud to say I'm copic certified and love using my sketch markers. The colors are awesome and I love how you can blend the colors and not leave streaks - they are so versatile. Copic markers rock!!
ReplyDeleteI don't have copics because they are hard to get in Australia but I wish I owned even a few because they look so good and versatile and easy to use with such great effects- the colours look fabulous -I'm sure if I won some I'd find a way to get more.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the new instructors! I use the sketch, ciao and a few of the original markers and I absolutely love them. I color my images with them, rhinestones, pearls, ribbon, flowers, you name it! They are so versatile and easy to use but I am still getting the hang of shading and blending.
ReplyDeleteI've been living the Copic life since Aug 2008 when at my stamping retreat I had the opportunity to try them all !! I immediately signed up for a certification class and I have never looked back. I now feel like an artist too ! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great givaway. I'm not sure I could decide. I love the sketch markers better than the ciao because they have the color # on the end. I also like the brush tip better than the thin tip on the original. But I'd also love to have the airbrush set. It makes such nice backgrounds & covering for embellishments.
ReplyDeleteDebbie inspired me to start purchasing Copics, but I haven't yet worked up the nerve to actually use them.
ReplyDelete
