OK, so you might have thought that I've dropped off the face of the earth, but know that I'm still here, and I am back from traveling for a while. The tutorial I was going to post this morning sadly I was having too much fun coloring and I totally forgot to stop and scan in the steps, so I have to re-do it for the weekend, but it will be worth the wait.
Meanwhile, to celebrate that I'm back in town for a bit I want to offer a prize. Please leave a comment on this post stating:
1. How do you use copics
2. Why do you like them?
or, if you don't use Copics,
1. Why do you want to try them out? What are the things that you've heard about them that makes them sound so great?
I will randomly choose a winner on Monday at Noon. One winner will receive a free Sketch Set, a value of over $70!! (Actual set may vary from photo) Please make sure you leave a valid e-mail address for me to contact you at. Contest open only to North America.
Thanks for leaving a comment, and good luck winning!

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 400 of 493 Newer› Newest»Hi Marianne...I do have a number of Copics but am still very much a newbie. I have usually used TomBow markers to watercolour stamped images and was bound and determined not to get caught up in the Copic craze. Did it work? Nope! I made the mistake of buying "just a couple" and fell in love. Sigh! I so like being able to colour stamped images on white paper instead of the yellow look of watercolour paper. I so like that I can take them anywhere. I so like how one can easily blend with these markers. I so like that colouring with Copics is sooooo much fun. I have taken one class and bookmarked each and every one of your tutorials to teach me. Started to note your tutorials before actually purchasing a Copic marker. Do I like these markers. No, I LOVE THESE MARKERS!!!! Okay, that sounds a little over the top, but I am truly hooked. LOL!
Thanks so much for sharing your talent, Marianne.

Welcome back.. I use my Copic's on cards, scrapbook pages, Anything I need to color. Love them. They are my favorite marker..
I use Copics to colour my images, spray fabric for hangings, colour embellishments, etc. I like them because they blend on their own. I don't have to use gamsol or anything other than my Copics. I like them because when (not if) I go over the lines I can get the colour to back up and go where it should. I like all the colours they come in. I like the shape and feel. I like the quality. Thanks for all the info you give us and this chance to win some best beloveds.

Welcome back! I am very new to Copic markers and only own 20 plus the blender pen. I decided to try them because of all the rave reviews and the amazing, beautiful end results. Informational, easy to understand, and step by step instructional blogs like yours gave me the confidence to invest in the markers. I still have a long way to go artistically and need/want many more colors to achieve
results even close to yours, but I can see my future potential. Thanks for the chance to win.

I LOVE my Copics!!! I'm still new to using them and I still need practice shading, but when I use them, my coloring is just SO perfect! I would NEVER get rid of my Copics!!! They make me an 'artist'! :)
I use Copics to make cards and absolutely love them but I need more Copics and also need more practice. I love the way the colors blend to leave shadows.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Welcome back...missed you! I love Copics...being a very new user. Still saving to get more. My DH started with on them for my birthday (little did he know!). I love coloring with them so my image matches my designer paper, and I love to use them to color ribbon to match too. Love that. Would love to increase my Copic marker collection! Thanks!
Welcome Back Marianne!! Wow...what do I love about Copics!?! Hmmmm...I think it would be easier to tell you what I don't like about them which is nothing. I have only been stamping for 3 months and in doing all of my research I had to have Copics from the very beginning! I love the blending capabilities of them and love using them on embellishment. I have a new airbrush on my Christmas wish list!! Thanks for the chance to win!!
Glad you are back but wish you were here teaching a class right now! I just took my first Copic class last weekend and loved loved it. I have a few of the Copics but do not have enough to make a light, dark, middle, and light combo.I would love to color like the rest of the guys that have been doing it for sometime. The reason I really like them is because of the lighting you can create on the subject. Thank you for the tips you give cause now I can actually apply them to my card and scrapbooking coloring. Also Thanks for a chance to win.
welcome back... I love my copics... I love to color with them on my cards and projects. I think they are the perfect medium.
Hi Marianne
I love my copics, although I don't seem to find enough time to play with them as I would like. I like that you can blend them in and it does not "pill" up the paper. Thanks so much for all your guideance on this site.
Laurie
I LOVE using my Copics. I have used them on original sketches for my cards, I've used the on cut outs fromt the Cricut, I've used them on Grungepaper roses - my latest obsession! I've used Copics on shapes or embellishments I want to change the color - brads, paper flowers, small cut outs I don't like the color so I add another to change it to fit whatever I'm working on. Every day I find something else I could use my Copics on. I've never considered myself an artist, but using Copics (since May) has boosted my artistic confidence and helped me create cards and all sorts of paper crafts I never thought I could or would make!
I am slowly collecting Copics. I use them to color. I love how I can shade with them and the vivid color I get.
I have a few Copic markers and I love the way they go on so smooth. I use them mostly in cardmaking, but have wanted to use them on layouts too. The colors are so vibrant and I would love to take a class and learn more about them with shading and blending. Thanks for this great opportunity and Welcome Back.

Yeah, a new post coming up; can't wait. I use Copics to color the
flower stamps I have. I would love
to get some of the wonderful stamps
of children to color. I love Copics
especially because they make an
image look so realistic.
I want to try Copics because I see how great of a coloring job they do! I have Copic Envy! You can blend, color, shade, everything! that's why I want them!
I just purchased some Copic sketch markers to use for stamped images. I'll use the markers for images on cards, scrapbook pages and other papercrafting. I've been soaking up as many tips as I can and learning how to use them. I appreciated the tips you shared at MOA Scrapfest. Thanks for the chance to win!
Leslie E
Would love to learn more about copics!
Hello! And welcome "Home"! I haven't purchased or used any copic markers yet. I would like to own a basic set just because they are so vibrant in color! Anything I have seen posted that was colored with the Copics, it is just amazing the color! I have put off buying, and haven't seen them in any of the stores I shop for my supplies. I am so anxious to try them out and can't wait for my first set. Thanks for the opportunity to win your set offered!
I use mine mostly for stamping and making cards. I *LOVE* them. I had some prismacolors and they were so stinky and you can't refill them. These look nicer and fit easier in your hand and have the color #'s on the lid and they don't roll around on your desk! I love how they blend and don't pill your paper like water markers. I like knowing I am using artist quality supplies.
Welcome back Marianne!
I love my Copic markers because of the range and the depth of color you can create with them. So far I only have a small collection of them (compare to many stampers) so this sketch collection would be a perfect and much needed addition!

Oh my goodness!! Copics are the absolute best!! I use them for all my stamped images!! I do not use any other coloring medium! I was convinced not to get too many and I was never going to get an air compressor! Well, I have learned not to say never!! My copics and compressor are right out on my work table!! And if I go on the road, they come with me!! Everyone please practice, practice and practice!!! So do I LOVE Copics, YES!!!!
Hi,
I love to use my copics for colouring stamps. I bought my copics as a souvenir of my holliday in the USA, and I never regretted it.
What I like the most are the wonderfull coulours and the way they blend.
Thanks for givig away ths candy and for all the usefull tips I love to read!

Good to see you back.
I love to use my copics to color in my stamp images and also have the airbrush system and love using it. They are so easy to color with and the blended just makes the images stand out.
What a great prize giveaway!! Thanks for the chance to win.
welcome back! I do not have Copic's. I have seen all the wonderful colorings stampers have done and I hear how wonderful they are. What intrigues me is the way they blend!! What has held me back is the price....afraid to spend so much and not like them! Winning would give me the opportunity to try them out and see...perhaps get addicted to them lol.
I love your tutorials and have been saving all the emails for the day when I finally own some copics. thank you for the opportunity to win and for all that you share with us.

I primarily use my Copics for coloring along with rubber stamping. I'm currently using them to color over 300 Gerbera daisys on wedding "save the date cards" and invitations for my son's wedding. I LOVE the vibrancy of the colors! And I'm becoming very proficient at re-filling!
Welcome back! I love my Copics. I use on SBing layouts and cards. I have a few Ciao pens and quite a few Sketch pens and the Spica Glitter pens. I love them all, but I do not have enough time to play. I love the way you can blend with the sketches and color solid. Before I used Tombows and you could not get a nice pretty solid color w/o putting a hole in the paper. I love them! A girl can never have enough Copics, but I'm working on my collection! Pls choose me! Thanks for the chance!
I have never used the Copic Markers but all the comments I heard on them have been positive. Archivers is offering a class using the Copic Markers and I considering taking it.
I love Copics but, I still have ALOT to learn, I use them for coloring, I'm a stamper & a scrapbooker. I like them because they are alcohol based, no streaking & LOVE, LOVE everything you can do with them, they are amazing...OH & all the pretty colors help too!
I don't have any copics yet (the price is keeping me away), but I would *love* to try them out. I am really impressed with the ability to blend colours without pilling the paper. I also love the idea of using the colourless blender to push colour out of the way.
HI MARIANNE
WELL A FEW MONTH AGO I BUY THE CIAO
AND I LOVE IT , BUT I DONT KNOW WHY
IS FINISH SO FAST AND SOMETIME IS DRY AND I USED ONLY IN STAMP IMAGE
WELL I LOVE TO TRY THE SKETCH ONE ,BECAUSE IS BIG AND THAT THE ONE I SEE OLL THE TIME IN THE TUTORIAL IN YOU TUBE, BUT THE COST IS TO MUCH FOR ME
SO THATS WHY I WISH TO WIN SOME SKETCH
THANKS MARIA

I love your tuts! why do I like - no love copics? they make me feel like an artist! I have always loved to color since I was very little. couldn't stand for the colors to not be even. I would work very hard to make it look even. with copics, well they are so easy to use. I LOVE to color with them.....
thanks for putting my name in the hat!

I love using Copic markers in my card making, especially coloring in images, changing the color of my embellishments. To me Copic markers are a tool investment.. I LOVE THEM

I am a rubber stamper. I saw outline stamps colored with Copic and was blown away. I've been taking classes learning how to use Copic. Love it!
welcome home...you have been missed!! I love to color stamped images with my copics. Now that I understand how the numbers work, I am so much more likely to step out of my comfort level and use colors again!!Its so amazing!!
hugs,
Holly
I LOVE my copics. I use the sketch markers and I practice everyday. I am still having trouble with the shading but will definitely not give up. I LOVE how there is no stop/start lines and how they look so great on images.
I look forward to seeing the video and thanks for the chance to win.

Welcome back to town! I started seeing Copics done by Designers (Debbie Olson), and found your blog through her. I resisted as long as I could, and finally got some Copics for Christmas last year. I am adding to my collection a little at a time. I have to read your blog a little at a time to learn about shading and color families and the whole 10 yards. The Copics go on to the paper like butter, and look gorgeous!!! Thanks for your inspiration!!!
I have only a few Copic markers and I really like how they blend together. I think the selection of colors is fantastic, if a little overwhelming. But I really enjoy playing with the ones I do have so fat. Thanks!
I have Copic Ciao markers and love them. I haven't tried the Sketch Markers yet but went with the Ciao as they were a little more affordable for my budget. I love the color saturation you get with them. They really make my cards come alive. I neer got that kind of saturation with what I was using before and it was either the Copic markers or I was going to get Prismacolor pencils but saw more and more people on Splitcoaststampers were using Copic markers. I was sold on them and have two sets of 36 and I want to buy more. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

I haven't had a chance to try the Copics yet, but have watched several videos online for cardmaking with them. They look very user-friendly and versatile! I would love to try them.
Welcome back Marianne. You were missed. I started out with the light grey, light blue and blender Copics...you know, just for shading stamped images and give them depth. Then I got a few more, and realized that I needed the in-between colors to shade properly, and the whole thing snowballed from there. I now have about 80 and needing more. I especially love how you can shade and blend the colors without leaving streaks like most markers do, and how many colors there are with the different tones and intensity within. That's something I have not found in other coloring systems. They are pricey, but well worth it. My 6-year old granddaughter cannot understand why I won't let her color her fridge pictures with them!
I have seen some beautifully colored stamped images using Copic markers. I would LOVE to learn how to color like that! The cost of a set of Copic markers is prohibitive for me, so I would really appreciate them if I won. Thank you for the opportunity and for the tutorials.
I recently got my first 3 sketch markers that I ordered from Papertrey Ink but have not used them yet..All of the blogs that I visit on a regular basis have posts using the markers and the cards they make using these markers are awesome!!!! The only thing keeeping me from buying these markers are my finances. I hope this will change soon and I will be able to purchase a few more or maybe an entire set. Just maybe I will get lucky and win a set........
Honestly, I've wanted to try Copics but they just haven't worked into my craft budget yet. And I know that once I buy one set (or a small handful) to try I will want them all. I love the wide variety of colors, the way the blender can be used to blend two colors or remove color to add highlights.
And I have to admit Copics has the best colors on the market! Your pastel shades really are so soft and subtle.
Thank you for this opportunity to start my collection.
I use my Copics every chance I get and have given up any other markers. I love that they are so blendable and that they come in such a fantastic array of colors. Thank you for you wonderful turorials. Hope I win!
I love love love Copic Markers. I saw them for the first time in a Stamping store in Seattle during our Labor Day vacation. I came home to Phoenix, Arizona and couldn't find them anywhere. So disappointing. I scoured the internet and read everything I could about them. Then I bid on a set on ebay and WON! They arrived last week and I can hardly sleep I am playing with them every day. I am thinking of giving up watercolors and going strickly with these markers --especially since the blend marker gives you the same effect.
I really like copics but I only have a few. I love all the great Art I see done with them. Thanks for the chance to win some.

Welcome back, Marianne. I love my Copics! I love the way the colour lays down, how you can blend in so many different ways, and how it challenges me to become better all the time!
Thanks!

I use Copics to color stamped images and to color white, clear or metal objects for my projects. I love them because they blend so beautifully and the colors make the images just pop off the paper! Thatnk you for the chance to add to my collection!

Welcome back Marianne. I have a few Copic markers and really like the ones that have the brush tip the best for coloring in my stamped images. I really need to use them more and play with how to get the color realistic. I would LOVE to win this set of markers to add to my collection to help me broaden my colors. Thanks for a chance. mghowell8@msn.com
I've recently fallen in love with Copic markers. They really surpass the other markers I was using as the color range is mind boggling and they blend soooo well. No other markers is good enough for me now. :-)
I would love to try Copics because of the range of colors available. I find that Prismacolors do not offer enough shades for me, but if I probably knew how to use them better I might be able to solve that problem! I have none yet...this might just be the kickoff to a new collection :)
I am so totally hooked on Copics. I just love having all the different family of colors and the way they blend. I haven't touched any of my other markers since I started using the Copic Markers.
I use my copics for cardmaking. I find them so versatile. They have helped me express my creativity. Thanks for the opportunity.
Hi..I'm pretty new with copics..but love to use them for a base under my prismas...and for very tiny areas on my stamped images...Also love my Spica pens!!..Fabulous prize..TFS!!
Welcome Back! I have a few Copic Markers, they are hard for me to find. I have the blender to and I use it with my markers for blending. I must admit I haven't mastered the technique yet. I think I am intimidated by the beautiful projects I see. I would love a chance to win a set.
Thank-you,
Sandy in Utah
Copics allow a magnificent blending quality that far surpasses any other coloring tool. Flat images are magically transformed into realistic forms. I love to coordinate embellishments and the airbrush system makes it so easy to cover large areas. I used them on every project! ~ Rose
Glad you're back & posting; I've already learned a lot here, though I have a LOT to still learn! I now have 35 Copics and LOVE to use them for not only coloring, but to create matching embellishments (i.e., ribbon, flowers, pearls, gems, etc.), which I why I LOVE them! I'm now 30+ minutes from any craft stores, so having the option to color your own embellishments to finish off a card is so AWESOME! Would LOVE to win some additional colors to add to my collection -- thanks for the chance, Marianne!
I have been wanting to try the Copic markers because everyone I know who has tried them has raved about them. At the same time, I'm hesitant because of the cost. I've run the gammit of markers since I started stamping/scrapping 15 years ago. LOL My 14 yo draws anime and I think she would love these and am considering buying her a set for Christmas. If I like them, then I may invest in some for myself.
Welcome back! I *was* beginning to wonder if you dropped of the face of the Earth. 8)
I love to color stamped images with copics and I love how well them blend. I also love the smell of the markers (tee hee) and airbrushing could keep me busy for HOURS. =)
Welcome back, Marianne! I love my Copics! I mainly use them for coloring stamped images for my cards. I love the vibrant color and the great shading you get with Copics. Thanks for the chance to win!

I would love to win! I have never used them before, but whenever I go to a card store I see them but never know how to use them so I never considered buying! But I would love to try! Please, if I win I would be so happy to see an email in my mailbox letting me know!
Thanks!
I use them for card making. I love them because they glide as smooth as butter. They blend well. You can refill them. They make my work look like an real artist...at least in my mind!!

I love getting your blog emails and I really like your tips and tutourials. I havn't used copics yet but I am dying to... I love their colors and how easy it looks to shade and create depth with them. Would love to win a set...that would surely be awesome!
Glad to have you back. I just can't seem to get enough of your tutorials....... The copics I have are used for all of my cards and scrapbooking images. I've used them to color buttons, label freezer packages and anything I want to stay permanently on an item. Also color paper flowers and just about anything I can get my hands just to use them. I love them!! Just need to learn a LOT more about shading, etc., and what colors go together best. Thanks so much for your tutorials and the help you provide to all of us.

Welcome back! Let's see. I use copics on stamped images for the most part. I have used them to color dewdrops and ribbon too. I LOVE that they blend so nicely and there are so many colors-I can find a match for pretty much any paper in my stash!
Oh it's so good to have you back - you were missed! Copics are wonderful for card making - they blend so well and add such great dimensions. The more I use them, the more ideas I get and the more Copics I want/need/must have. They're just fantabulous!!

Welcome back. I love my copics because of how easy they flow onto the paper, and how vibrant the colors are. I use them for most all of my coloring (mainly for cards, once in a while I change up so as not the forget the former styles I used (chalk, OMS, watercoloring).
I love my copics and want to color everything!! Now I stamp just to color!! Feel like a little kid!! I only wish I could color like you!! I know, practice, practice, practice!! Now I find myself checking out the blogs to see how they colored!
I use copics to journal and to make artist trading cards.
I love copics because you can refill them and change out the nibs! I never use the chisel end so I'm switching out to the round one.
Welcome home! I LOVE my Copics! I use them to color stamped images and also to add shading to my die cuts. I also have both sets of the Spica Glitter pens and they are amazing! I am working on my Copic collection a few markers at a time but so far so good. I am by no means a master of the marker but I practice and read your tutorials and that has really helped. Thanks for the chace to win! Katie sethdsmom@yahoo.com
I mainly use them for my stamps on the cards that i make. I relatively new to them and have only been using them for about 6 months, but i just love how you can blend and blend until you get the effect you want.
I only have about 10 Copics so far, but I use them for coloring in my stamped images for card making. I love them because they are alcohol ink, so I can blend them and they'll work on anything like staples and gems so I can match my images. I also like the fact that they are refillable! I'm saving up to buy the air gun package so I can try out some airbrushed backgrounds. I'd love to win the marker set, thanks for the chance to win!!

Hi Marianne
Welcome back. The Copic markers are great. I use them for card making and will be trying them with scrapbooking. Your blog and tutorials are a great source for inspiration and training.
Thank you for all the work in your tutorials as well as your Certification classes.
Sue
I picked up my first Copic (a blender pen) two years ago and loved it so much. I saved and saved and bought my first set of Copic Ciao this summer. I love them. I use them for both scrapbooking and cards. I love your tutorials and have learned so much from you. Thank you for taking the time to teach us so much!
Cheers/Janet
I love the Copic markers. I have a few and use them almost daily (coloring stamped images mostly, though I did try them on fabric yesterday, YEAH!) I keep thinking the more i use them I might one day get close to what I see on all the beautiful blog. Thanks for the chance to win some!! ( I actually wrote down my wish list of colors yesterday)
Thanks!

Hi. I have only a few. They are great for shading because they blend so well. I don't have more because of the price. Jane
I have only a few. they are wonderful for shading because they blend so well. I do not have more because they are SO expensive. Jane
I love my Copics. I do not always know if I am using them correctly because I have never taken a class. I do try to learn as much as I can from different blogs, especially yours. I think they are so much easier to work with then regular markers and there are so many colors to choose from. The blending and shadowing reminds me of my art class days in high school. Now that is going back in time! I love the way your image does not look streaked and the paper does not pill. I love everything about them!
I've been using copics for about a year. I love all the colors available, the choice of tips on the same marker and the richness of the colors.
I just received a few markers for my birthday last week so am very new to the whole Copic scene. I am hapy with my beginning results and can't wait to have more markers to play with!
wow how awesome...i love my copics....i saw how you and the others have used it and i am so inspired...TFS...
I've always had a thing for coloring and copics allow me, the adult, to still color. I love how versatile they are.
I use Copics for coloring my stamped images and for coloring my embellishments to match the colors on my projects.
Welcome back! I was introduced to Copics in May of 2008 and bought 3 different colors and started using them. I used those three markers and was never satisfied with the results - my work never looked like what I had been shown and seen in my searches after meeting the infamous Copics. A few months later I bought a few more and kept trying with poor results (I had not found your blog and tutorials yet). I kept buying one or two at a time til I had built up to 10 or 15 still not getting the shadows and color gradiations so all my work was still lifeless - but pretty! I had all but given up and went back to coloring with watercolor pencils at this point for depth and dimension - losing our jobs in August of 2008 also helped to my switch. In March of 2009 my local (at the time) stamp shop announced it was going out of business (a month after I found it) and that Jen DelMuro would be teaching her last Copic workshops in April - I knew I had to go - and I was fortunate that the six colors she recommended for the class I had 5 of (still unemployed at this time) and all I had to do was buy 1. I spent those couple hours with Jen in that class and BAM, my eyes were now open and I had a new outlook on the Copics. Since then I have found your blog, tutorials and many others that have helped me along the way and I've even been honored enough to share my knowledge (which is still limited compared to a lot of people) with new scrappers I meet and pass along the love of Copics to them. At this point I am dying to get my hands on new Copics as we've only been back to work for a couple months and some of what I have are finally drying out - another reason that I am a Copic only user now as they last forever! Thank you so much for keeping this blog fun, interesting and most importantly educational..............and, thanks for a chance to win some new friends!!!

Welcome back.
I love my copic markers. I love how they make my stamped images look like I actually have some artistic talent! I love the spica glitter pens too, and use them on my stamped images as well.
Why do I use/love copic markers? For starters they are the only markers that play well together for me. I love how they blend and do not leave those ugly marker streaks. I had given up on using markers until a friend let my play with her Copics, I have fallen in love!!!!!

Hi Marianne
Welcome back. Great to hear from you again.
1. How do you use copics
I use my copics to color stamped images for card making. I have some ciao.
2. Why do you like them?
I like them because they blend beautifully, colors are bright.
I like them enough to registered to a copic class certification.
I would really appreciate to win this copics sketch.
Thanks for giving us a chance to win these
Hi Marianne, I've just gotten my first set of markers and just starting to practice with them. I've seen some gorgeous cards using them. I LOVE the way they blend so easily. A friend of mine has used them and when she showed another stamper the card, the other gal said she didn't like it because it was too professional! She wants people to know that she made it and for it to look handmade. That's why I like them so much...they look professional!
Thanks for the chance to win more.
I have a fair collection of Ciao and Sketch Copics (over 100 but nowhere near all that I want!) and have been practicing when I can. I used them to color the House Mouse Halloween images I made for the kiddies. I have to admit they came out very well - much better than I can do with pencils or regular markers. I like the ability Copics give you to get several colors from one marker simply by going over and over to deepen the color.
Copic markers are the best ever, they even color metal. They are so blendable and the work looks so professional. Thanks for your lessona and hints, Gail
I use Copic makers because my bf introduced me to them and I love the way images look with the Copics. I am still learning to use them, so it seems I am practicing with them all the time a I slowly add to my collection. Plus, I love the spicas and the millimeter pens to!!
Glad your back. I can't wait for new ideas and tutorials.
Well, I have NEVER used copics and would love to give them a try because everyone I know who has used them sticks with them as their colouring medium of choice. I have heard so much about how terrific these markers are that I would love to give them a try!
Welcome home. I have just started using copic markers and have enjoyed them so far. I love shading with them. I of course need many more colors so I can do a better job but we all have to start somewhere.
Welcome back, Marianne! I use my Copics all the time to color stamped images. Lately though, I've been experimenting with using them for underpaintings in my colored pencil drawings. I love them for their vibrant colors, even laydown, and superior quality. They truly are the best markers I've ever used.
I love my Copics, I used use Prisma colors and while I love them I kept hearing about Copics and decided I need to try them. Wow! I have never seen a marker be so vibrant and blendable, and with none of those marker lines. I use my mostly for coloring in stamped images, but have also used them for drawings and other craft projects. I know they are expensive, but they are well worth the cost and last a good long time. I'm hoping to add to my collection this Christmas...or maybe Monday if I win this give away!
Welcome back. I started with six colors to use with my flower stamps. After using them I decided I need more colors. I now colors everything including brads, buttons and and metal. I love the bright colors.
I am loving using the sketch markers for coloring my rubberstamped images. I was NOT going to get into them because of the price but Sally Lynn came and taught a class and got me hooked.

Hi there! Welcome back. I first tried copics at a show in NSW australia. and loved how they blended together when colouring in stamped images. It is almost impossiable to get copics over here but i did hunt them down and have purchased a few essential colours. On the correct paper(which i found out the hard way...then read your blog!!!) my stamped images have such new 'depths' and really pop put of the page!
Thanks and good luck to all!!!

I am very intrigued by these markers but yet to try them. I must say I have been busy trying to master the prisma pencils but would love to have the opportunity to give copics a whirl. I see such absolutely gorgeous creations and vibrant colours. Thanks so much for the chance to win.

I love my copics and use them all time...too color stamped and digital images.
Welcome back Marianne safe and sound. I have seen so many people use copics and love the look. I have some and am still learning how to work with them. I am going to take a class soon to learn a little more. They have some awesome colors and I like the way you can blend them - it is a great affect. Thanks for giving us lots of wonderful tutorials - without them I would be totally lost.
Have a great evening.

SO glad you're back! I'm ready for some new tutorials!!
I love Copics. Before I started buying them, I would drool over the artwork I'd see done by so many other people in love with Copics. The blending - sometimes appearing almost 3d! Now I have, I think, a little more than half of the Sketch markers, buying ten or twenty at a time, as well as all the Spicas. I like to color stamped images, though I'm still a rank novice - trying to soak up as many tutorials as I find online from you & other gifted/talented/sharing folks. I also have an airbrushing kit, plus the papercrafting video, & plan on trying that real soon.
Hi Marianne. I use copic markers almost exclusively now. I love them so much! I have tried to color with other markers; both water based and alcohol based but I was never happy with the results. They didn't blend at all. I almost didn't even bother to try with copic markers once I heard of them because I didn't think they'd be any different. I'm so glad I did try them though because they are so different! I can blend them! They make me feel like a true artist.
I have some of the sketch, ciao and both sets of the spica glitter pens. I LOVE Copic markers! They are awesome for coloring stamped images for Handmade cards! Going to go get certified at the end of this month in Indiana! Can't wait. LOVE YOUR BLOG!!
Hello and wb :D!
I have a sketch set and I love to use them for manga styled art ^^. I absolutely love blending the colors together and the large brush nib is my favorite!! I'd really like to see what the other colours are like, thankss :)!
frozen.peaches@gmail.com
I use the markers for stamping. I love their colors.
I just started using Copics and like the depth of color you can get with them and how well they blend and do not pill the paper.
I frequent a lot of blogs that use Copic Markers with stamps. I have some old markers that need replaced. I would love to try the Copic.
I would love to try copic markers because I see such beautiful results by artists using them on stamped images. It seems my coloring attempts with water based markers look like my 4 year old granddaughter's work...don't get me wrong, I love her work, but my dream is to advance to the next level!
Thanks for the inspiration and hope!
Amy
Cool copics!!!!! All the cards I've seen with them has me drooling. I'm sure the same for whoever wins them.
Welcome back!
Sadly I don't have any copics yet...Why do I want to try them out?!
Because they yield positively stunning results!
I have read some blending tutorials that make them seem like they would be so fabulous to color with!
Thanks for the opportunity to win a set! :)
Wow-wee! Would I like to win those puppies!! I am fairly new to Copics but I use them to colour in stamped images. I like the richness of the colours, the variety (duh!) and how they blend, of course!!!!
I'm thinking about buying a set of copic markers. Because of the price, I'm doing an extensive search about them. I loved the spectacular colors and wonderful things that copics can make. I hope I will be the winner !!!!!

I am just starting to use copics because of everything I have seen and read on various blogs. I like the ones that I have and would love to get more.
Kathy at snyderkh@msn.com
I use Copic markers to color various stamped images and/or just to doodle with. I like using them because even if I am not artistic, they make me feel as though I am!
Hi Marianne,
I just started using copics to colored my stamped images. I love that they make my images look like they have been professionally printed. I was never a good art student in school, but copics are really helping me enjoy my hobby!
I haven't been using copics long but I love them. love the fact that they can cover pearls, flowers, embossing, just about anything you want to use them on. love the coverage you get, they are great!
I use them for rubber stamping/card making. I like them because they blend so nicely.
What a great giveaway! I haven't been able to try the copics yet but have REALLY been wanting too. I have seen how awesome they are at coloring in your stamped image and I love how they give that shaded look and make it look like a painting. Hope it's my lucky day! Carly S. deemster22@yahoo.com NOT verizon.net
I don't have any Copic Markers yet. I live in a very rural area and my nearest LSS doesn't carry them yet. I do have to say it's not so much what I've heard about Copics that makes me want to try them, it's the amazing results that I see that make me want to try them.
I have 4 Copics, 2 violet and 2 blue and I'm trying to learn how to use them. There are no stores around me to give tutorials, so I have to take it a little bit at a time. I've seen some amazing things by some of my friends on the message boards so I definitely know that the results are wonderful!! Thank you for offering such a wonderful opportunity!!!
I color in my stamped images and totally love using them. I love the blendability...is that really a word? Well it is now! I think Copics are far more forgiving than colored pencils and have a richer look!
Oh my goodness! First of all........I love, love, love my Copics & now have close to 60 markers. Years ago when I started stamping I colored with the Tombow & LePlume markers.......then I stopped stamping for a few years until I discovered Copics! Now I've accumulated a ton of stamps......mainly Magnolia "Tildas", TAC stamps & clear stamps..........and of course I use my Copics on all of them!
Thanks for offering the delish candy & welcome home! We missed you!

I use copics to color stamped images for my cards. I saw tutorials (actually from you) and fell in love with the look of them. Now coloring with my copics is kind of like therapy - relaxes me.

Sorry if this threw off your numbering system.
I have only one copic, i bought a flesh tone to use for skin with other pencils and markers that i have. Would love to have some more but it is just not in the budget right now.
I use Copics for art card pieces. I love my Sketch Copics because of their brush tips and, as far as I know, they are odorless. What initially got me interested in checking out the Sketch series was the option to refill the markers. My first set was the Toner Grays.
Thank you for blogging about Copics!
Celesta@CelestaKrantz.com
I do not have any Copics or any kind of coloring pens. I have been seeing such beautiful work done by different ones and would love to have some to get started with.
Thanks for the opportunity
I have never tried them but as I get into more stamping projects I find that I need something to color them with. The projects people come up with are amazing. It is really quite intriguing! :)
I am in lOVE with my Copics! I use them to color everything from stamped images to ribbon.
They are definitly worth the investment.
I've just started using Copics and really like how well they can be used to create depth with shading and the huge variety of colors!
I love my Copic markers and use them to color in stamped images for my cards. I like how they blend easily and don't pill the paper. I only wish I'd discovered them earlier!
At last... your back. I use my copics to colour my stamped images, mainly magnolia. I have about 130 of the original and would love them all. I havnt tried sketch and to be honest the only reason is that If I do, and love them, then thats another 130 I would have to buy. Haha. But I would love to win a set of these to see If I like them. I cant say I'm too good at all this colouring yet, but with the help of you and your blog I've certainly "travelled" further than I thought I ever would. Thanks so much everything you do and for the opportunity to win the sketch markers.
I just got my first Copics today. I took an introductory class, so I'm excited to start using them. I'm here at your website to start skimming tutorials. Thanks for the chance to win!
I am very new to copics. Love your blog because you offer advice to beginners, intermediate and the advanced. Appreciate the step by step instructions and pictures to help walk us through the process. I've been brave enough to make a few cards and have been pleased with the results.
Well, I use my copics almost everyday, in my creative lettering samples, in my art journals, pretty much in all my illustrations!
I use them because I love the vibrancy of their colours, the range of colours, and the blendability...they are in one word, AWESOME!!!
Wow, where do I start. I use copic markers for coloring just about everything. I search out stamps that would look great with copics. I love to be able to shade and give "life" to my cards. I saw a demonstration today on using paste with stencils. It was brought up to use copics to color the paste once it was dry. I can't wait to try. For anyone thinking of buying don't hesitate. They are the best investment you will ever make. They can be refilled and you can get new tips. The colors are so vibrant. Buy one and you will be hooked.

Welcome back home! I love coloring stamped images, airbrushing backgrounds, and my ultimate fav-changing ribbons/brads/etc to the perfect color for my projects. I love the depth of color and their amazing blending ability. Thanks!! :)
1-I use my copics for coloring in images for paper crafting.
2- I love the professional results and vibrant color.

I have watched your blog with the blending of the Copic Markers. I do not have them yet, and have not purchased any..I do not know what colors to start with...Which markers to buy?
I do watercolor and think the Copic Markers would help the medium of art.
I was hoping to put my claws on these to try the spray gun technique...I think this is a very versatile marker...So my creativity will go up in the sky!
Welcome back from your trip. I love Copics and just started to use them. Your tutorials have been a great help. The colors are so vibrant and they blend so easily. I use them to color stamped images as well as to make enbellishments for my scrapbook.
Thanks for the chance to win some more. Ann

Oh my gosh! I'm addicted to Copic markers! I'm collecting far more than my husband feels comfortable with! Ha! I use them to color stamped images and change the color on embellishments. There is no better marker out there! I am certainly not a pro and can't wait until the day when you decide to venture up to Anchorage to teach a class. I'll be the first one in line! :)

Hi Marianne:
I've been wanting to try Copics forever! The problem is, once I do, I know I'm going to want to own each and every color! :o)
Thanks for the giveaway.
Sandra
sandra_matsuba@yahoo.ca
The main thing that I would love to try is shading and blending with copics. I don't own any but would love to get some.
Oh, what amazing blog candy! I LOOOOOOOOOOVE my copics. I love to use them on several types of papers. It's my favorite way to color an image. I've used it on ribbon too. I've seen other ways to use copics but haven't tried them yet. I wish I had more time to play but it's sure a lot of fun when I do! I love reading your posts and learning more about them. I just wish I lives near you so I could take a class or two from you. :-)
Oh dear, I forgot to give you my email address: fancydancycrafts@cox.net
Sorry about that!
Great to have you back, I know I cannot win this set, but wanted to answer your questions after all!
I like them because of the way you can colour with them - the paper does not tear, and you have a free movement - they are unlike the water colour markers - I wish I could have more colours to match my Stampin-up colours, but at last, it may never happen - I picked up the ciao and now am on my way to collect the sketch! which I like for the colour spread! HUgs always!
Oh my... once I bought my first copic, I was addicted!! I always loved coloring when I was a child and using my copics on my cards is just an adult way of playing and having fun!! I've learned alot from your tutorials and try to practice the theory. I just wish there were classess closer to the Philadelphia area - I'd love to go to a hands-on one. It would make a difference. Shading without streaks is a weakness for me yet, but I've come across something that works well for me now - I color the image with watercolor pencil and then use a copic as the 'water'... so for now, that technique seems to help me achieve the light-to-dark shading that I sometimes need. I've found copics at very reasonable prices on a few websites so I am slowly adding to my inventory. I would love to win your blog candy! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that random-org likes me this time around! Thank you so much for your time and sharing your talent.
Oh my! What an awesomely fabulous prize!!!! I have not yet invested in my first copic markers,....I just keep looking, admiring and coveting! Winning this would be a super way to get started! Thanks for the chance.
BTW, I LOVE what you do here. Thanks for sharing your amazing inspiration.
I love copics..I have collected quite a few recently..I love to colour my stamped images
Right now I use Copics just for some easy coloring. What I'd like to get better at is using them for blending and details to make higher quality colored stamped images.
How wonderful it would be to win some Copics, thanks for the opportunity and with my husband out of work, it would be like an early Christmas. I'm still a novice and don't have a lot of Copic Markers, but I love using them because of the final look. I have never achieved the look I can get from other markers/pencils. I use them mainly for coloring stamped images.
I am very new to Copics and want to learn how to use them. This is a great prize and thank you for the chance of winning!

Wow oh wow! I have not yet tried copics although I am just dying to. I love how fast you can color something with them. I use colored pencils right now and then use OMS to blend them out, I know that copics will be so much faster!
I actually just took the copic plunge and spent my birthday money buying some. I wanted to try coloring with them and shading. I'm getting there but it'll take some time. Practice, Practice, Practice.
Charmaien
I havent used Copics yet, but am signed up to take a class. But wow! to win a set would be awesome! I love the look that Copics give, and I love to color, so I am hoping for love at first try here with the copics
I currently have five copics and just dabble with them when I get the urge. Some stuff turns out well, more like happy accidents, but still I am learning how to use the markers. I hope to change all that by taking a Copic Certification and learning the tricks of the trade. I hope to take my cards to the next level, and I know this is one significant way to accomplish that goal. Then, I look forward to seeing how else I can usethe markers. Thanks for sharing and welcome home!
I have just started using Copics -- resisted for awhile but seeing everyones work on blogs convinced me that I must. I love the idea that you can use plain white cardstock instead of watercolour paper. I'm finding blending the colours a bit of a challenge but it is coming. The introduction to your website by a good friend has helped immensely. Thank you for the opportunity to win som Copics. My 'collection' is quite limited so they will be greatly appreciated.
I love my Copics! They are so versitile - blending, bling, ribbon, chipboard, etc, etc, etc. My fave is blending - it has lead me to learn about perspective, shading aand shadowing. Thanks for this Blog!
I am new to Copic, still trying to perfect the technique of blending. Seems I don't have enough colors to get the results I need. This set would be a welcome addition to the few Copics I have. Thanks for the chance to win.

Welcome back, Marianne! What a great drawing! I use my Copics for most if not of all my coloring now which is anything I stamp and most of my sketches. I love Copics because of their blending capabilities and the fact that they don't leave brush marks. I have to say my favorite benefit is the fact that you can color with lighter colors over dark colors and that you can push ink back in the lines when you make a mistake. I wish I had every color but the price is somewhat limiting. I think they are worth every penny...it's just that I don't have that many pennies! :)
My email is: kyscoggins@bellsouth.net
I primarily use my Copics to colour in my stamped images. I love how they blend so well without the "pilling" that watercolour markers do. I love how you can have ribbon or accessories the exact colour you want them to be. I love the huge variety of colours. There isn't much I don't love about them...ok, well the cost, and the local availability are the 2 things that I don't like about them!!! They are the best!
Welcome Back!
I love my Copic markers as I get more colors and practice in shading. I don't have a degree in art or even any schooling, but the learning curve is great with these markers. I love everything that I color with them...well, that is, except hair. I need some help with that!! ;o)
I have seen so many amazing projects online using the Copics and would love to give them a try. :-)
I just recently got sucked into the Copic craze. And I LOVE them!!! So easy to get the shading on stamped images. Thanks for the chance to win a set. :)
Hey Marianne,
Glad you're back (I keep tabs on you via your Twitter feeds :-) ).
Let's see what do I use my copics for... ummmm everything, lol.
Besides being my go to medium for coloring, I use them to color my flowers, my brads and ribbon. Love to use the broad tip for doing a quick edge on a panel or card. Also found the earth tones work awesome to fix scratches/dents on furniture/wood trim :-). Hubby stole a couple of my dark grays & black to use on his tank/airplane models and I think he even tried them on some of his gun parts (he does gunsmithing I think is what it's called).
I've also used them on fabric... in short pretty much on everything :-).
hugs
I have a few markers and I am starting to use them in my Stamp Camp I teach each month. You should have heard the comments as the ladies were coloring with them - the fact the nibs are replaceable, they are refillable and kids can use them and you don't have to panic. I love the basic coloring with them and I'm working on blending techniques, the cards you are seeing are wonderful art work. I like that you can find any color you need, whether you prefer pastels or royal colors. Besides more of a variety of colors of markers, I really want to purchase an air brush system. Love the way you can stencil, air brush the flowers, etc... I just plan love the markers......would love to win and have more colors for my class. Thanks for the opportunity. catherinesangels@yahoo.com
Welcome back! Must be fun having your "job" lol. I love Copics for their versatility, I'm fairly new to using them (I have a small set of 12) I would love to explore/experiment more with them especially the airbrushing aspect.
hotpynkchyca@yahoo.com
I never considered myself artistic. I can't even draw a good stick figure, but with my copic markers, I can color stamped images that look pretty close to ones I see on all the card blogs. They blend so well. I wish I had every color. I use them to make cards most of the time, but I have colored buttons and ribbon with them. I really enjoy your blog.
I have been a lurker on your site for months.. I had a lot of catching up to do.. I must say thanks to you I am getting more and more comfortable with my copics. I stamp thus mostly use them in card making... everything from coloring images to the staples used on the card. What can I say, but I love them! so much so that for the first time I actually am leaving a comment..
thanks for all you do...

Wow! I don't have any Copics but like what I see and will probably get a couple to try. Thanks for the chance!
I have been using my Copics for a year or so. Stil trying to colour some decent images. More practise!!!
I love the different shades and the fluid placement of ink on the paper.
Welcome back and thank you for all the info you post. I'm on a waiting list to take a Copics class at 'Elegant Stamp' in the Toledo area. The art work I've seen using the Copic markers is really beautiful. I only have the blender pen, but hey, you've got to start somewhere!
Thanks for the opportunity to win a set of Copics. How Cool!

I use copics to color my larger outline stamps and digi images.
2. I like them because of the beautiful results I get.
I love to color so I use them as much as I can for coloring in stamped images. Since getting some copics I rarely use any other type of coloring tool. Thank you for all of the wonderful tutorials they are very helpful. Thank you also for the chance to win.
Hi,
I'm a Designer who would love to have a new set of Copics to try out. Hopefully I will get to attend the Certification Class soon. I've tried a few markers from the Copic brand and was very impressed.
Thanks,

Hey there Marianne,
I found your blog though looking up copic markers! I have not tried Copic markers yet, heck, I just bought my first set of prismacolors at an art and crafts store very far from where I live, and using them really wowed me haha. I can imagine that copic would bring my work to a whole another level. I have been doing a lot of life drawings, and much recently the coloring. My family, and friends have been very supportive of my drawings. They're impressed by the apples I drew with my first prismacolor haha. Copic markers are great, because they have a replaceable nib, they very blendable, also they are refillable. So, even though they are expensive. Copic is a great life long investment.
So anyways, thank you for your great site, and your tutorials!
Thank you very much for this opputunity!

I've missed your tutorials - they are so helpful. I am not what you would call an artist. I use Copic's Ciao markers for my stamped cards. They are so much more vivid then water based markers, and I love how easy it is to blend the colors. Keep those tutorials coming - Love them!!!!
Thanks,
Joyce

I love my copics for colouring in images for my cardmaking. I love them because however bad my colouring is they always make it looks sooo much better...
Hi Marianne,
I must say that I love your blog. So very informative. Thanks. As for the copic sketch markers, well they are the best art investment that I have made. I love to draw and also I love stamping. They blend so beautifully and the colors are awesome. I took a class at a craft store not knowing what the result would be. I had no idea how different they would be from all the other markers I have. What a pleasant surprise. I haven't used anything else since that day. Like they say the rest is history. lol

Welcome home! I absolutely love copics. I use them for coloring cards and they are so addicting. I am patiently waiting on some replacements on an order that Fed Ex claims to have left on my front porch which I never got - grrr!!! Have never ever lost anything delivered on my porch before or since - makes me suspicious. At any rate, thank you for giving away a set - that is so generous of you! Here is my email in the event that I am selected. Happy Fall y'all.
mathlady51@sbcglobal.net
Welcome back! I have a combination of ciao and sketch and I love them both. I think I have around 120 all combined. I love to color my images with them because I can blend them so easily without leaving harsh lines. they are so juicy and easy to use if you have a good knowledge about them. I can custumaze my embellishment too. That's another reason I bought them, they are expensive but they are worth it. I would love to add more to my collection. Thanks for the opportunity to play.
I've never used Copics, but I've always wanted to try them. I drool every time I see your posts. The colors are so vibrant and they make all your projects just pop off the page. The blending ability seems endless. I would be in Copic Heaven to try them!
I haven't tried Copics yet. I keep thinking about the price and cringe. I suppose if I was given a set, I'd LOVE them and have to buy more...LOL. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!
Thanks for the chance to win.
