Japan
Our hearts have been in Japan this past week, as thousands have become homeless in Northern Japan, following the earthquake and resulting Tsunami and the potential problems from the nuclear power plants that have been damaged.
We have had word from .Too Corporation (the Copic Manufacturer), which is located south, in Tokyo.
Everyone is safe. The first night after the quake, the train service was disrupted so some people had to sleep in their offices because they could not get home. However, things are slowly returning back to normal, and so far the e-mails have been positive.
We are grateful for everyone's concern, and we will keep you updated. Please continue to support those people whose lives have been uprooted from this disaster.

Hello marianne, thank god they are al safe. Diny
Oh Marianne. I am so happy to read this. I mentioned to my Husband that my markers come from Japan. I was so worried about all of them. I am still worried about all of the others that have lost so much. I pray that everything starts to get better for them all. This is truly something that should never happen to anyone. Take card and thanks again for the update. Hugs, Lisa G
Thank you for keeping us informed. I cannot imagine what all of them are going through. We went through a Cat 4 hurricane in 1996. That seems like nothing compared to what they are enduring day in and day out.
In our prayers...
Linda
We are very worry too here in France for this great people. They are living some terribles desasters : earthquake, tusnami, and now nuclear risk... then hunger. It's too hard.
Thank you for the update Marianne! I have been listening to the news throughout the days, thinking about and praying for all those people who have been directly impacted. My heart goes out to them.
Take care and STAY POSITIVE!
Thank you for the good news on the employees at Too. We don't know them, but have a connection because we love their products. Each time I see pictures of the devastation I have a hard time realizing this is not a horror movie it is real. I don't know how those people will find the strength to start over. My heart aches for them.
Thank you Marianne. They are in my prayers.
thanks for the update! I know a lot of our favorite companies have been affected in one way or another since so many of them are based in Tokyo. Glad to know they are all safe and sound!
PS--I adore your image today!
The devastation is heartbreaking. Every day I watch the news thinking it can't get much worse, but it does. I'm happy for the survivors although things aren't good for all of them. There are so many who lost everything, including their families. These people need lots of prayers and a major miracle.
Thank you for the update. My heart is also with the people of Japan who are enduring unimaginable hardship. I hope Japan can continue to produce excellent exports to the world.
Thank you for the update about Japan. My prayers go out to them as the go through the storm.

My thoughts and prayers are continuely for all those who suffered loss on last week from the disasters that struck Japan, although the worst is still not over--we shall continue to ask for mercy and the grace of God for the country and the people.
Thank you Marianne for the update. It's so great to know they are safe. We were so shocked with the dimension of the destruction and how everything came out after the disaster. We have some relatives in Tokyo and thank God they are safe too.
Thank you for the updates and all you share about the markers.
Blessings,
Lya
What a beautiful posting to honor the country and their people and all they are going through during this extremely difficult time. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of them and whatever help we can afford to give.
How beautiful! As for Japan, this is a horrible thing that has happened, and they are going to go through a long period to get through all of this. I can't imagine or have one inkling how they feel. They just keep getting more and more bad news everyday and they need a miracle for sure!
Wow! I just learnded so much Just Now thank you!
