Happy 1 Year of Blogging!

Wow, a whole year I have been at this, and my way to finish up this week of celebrations is with more prizes.

See this assortment above? It includes 1 each of all the new Spica Glitter Pen colors, 5 assorted Ciao Markers, and 6 multiliners, all in a sleek, black wallet. Retail value of $80!

I'm giving away 5 of these sets.

Leave a comment on this post between now and 12am Thursday morning for your chance to be entered.

Tell me what the most valuable thing you have learned from my blog this year has been, or what you want to learn, any other suggestions for Copic (colors, new products, etc), or just say hello. It's that easy!

Good Luck!

Come back later today for more prize opportunities and updates on other winners.

Rules:
• US & Canada only, sorry!
• One entry per person
• Must include a way for me to contact you (e-mail address or blog link)
• After I announce the winner you have one week to contact me or your prize is void and will be passed on to a runner-up.

I am addicted to Copics, and I love the tutorials you give to beginners, or anyone who has not been to art school! I have been taking mental notes on shading, light sources, etc., and I hope to get better withmore practice. Thank you for all you do, and thanks for the chance to win!

I'm too new to pick any one thing. I like the pictures that help with each description you give. I'm working on shading. I guess I'll always be working on shading. I've recently begun collecting my markers and have about 30 but that's not near enough to do a good job. I haven't noticed yet so if you don't already you could give free digi examples with each post so we could work on the exact same thing you showed in your post. How does it work with digi's??? Since you're suppose to use memento ink to stamp the images, what happens when you print the image from your computer? I have a Dell and use only Dell ink. Does the ink smear when you color the digi image? Is there a special ink to use for digi's. maybe you need to reply to this in an email, ms_cheryl_y@yahoo.com . I would absolutely be thrilled to win one of the sets you are giving away. Thank you so much, ms.cheryl

Oh my gosh what a lovely prize to get the opportunity to win, thank you.

I can't even begin to tell you all that I have learned from your blog. There is only 2 places I go for copic marker information and your blog is one of them. I knew nothing about how to use Copic Markers and can now at least blend and shadow my creations. I have a note book full of things you have taught me and my computer has tons of bookmarks on your site. Color combinations is what I need to see more of. I know this is a personal preference in many occasions but guideline as to certain combos (dark - med - light) values that work well together. Many times I wind up with a combo that I think will blend well and look great only to find I haven't purchased the right combo to work with.

Oh my gosh has it been a year already?? Your blog has been such a plethora of information!! Whenever I run into a problem or have a question, you blog is the first place I run to. It has been fantastic for tips, hints, ideas and so much more. I would love to see more techniques on colouring. (I know that's quite vague here!) For example, with stamps...showing what areas to shade, where shadows would occur and how much shading? <---as there are different intensities in certain areas kwim? That would help me take my colouring to that next step!
Keep it up!!

Cheers!

Hugs

Hello! Happy blogisversary :D!~~
I'm so happy i found your blog because it's been really helpful! I think one of the most important things that helped me was learning what the colorless blender can do. I bought one and never used it, but now i've learned there's all sorts of ways you can use it ^^. thank you!

Thanks to all your tips and hints and instruction, I can color with copics and (usually) be very happy with my final outcome. Selecting the direction the light shines and where the resultant shadows fall has made the biggest improvement in my coloring... and I really appreciate the design lessons you incorporate as well. With great appreciation for your time and efforts,
melissa

Hi Marianne,

I've been checking in to your blog from time to time and exploring your tutorials and archives and learning a lot I've been able to apply to my non Copic markers (SU, etc.) I'd love to play with Copics but it's been a tight year so that will have to wait unless fate, God, random.org and you decide otherwise. On the other hand once I do get those lovely pens in my hand I'll at least have an idea of what to do with them thanks to you and all the wonderful Copic loving bloggers out there!

Thanks for increasing the knowledge, awareness and especially for adding to the inspiration out here in the ether and in your workshops.

Hugs and blessings and a final congratulations on your blogaversary. Thanks you so much for sharing the presents with your greedy (oops grateful...) readers.

:D - Jean
