Alcohol Ink Painting live video

This Thursday afternoon, join me for an awesome live video where I'll show you coloring techniques, then we'll talk about how to "paint" with Copic inks. The theme is fish (because for some reason I wanted to color goldfish and koi).

To RSVP to the video, click here, or join us live on Periscope. Thursday, June 2nd, 3-3:40 pm PST

If you want to color along, you can even download the images I'll be working on:

Koi (we will color this one with inks) If you want to follow along, print this onto a glossy paper or photo paper.
Goldfish (I'll be showing some basic coloring techniques on this image) This image can be printed on your favorite marker paper (I'll be working on the Art Paper Pack, but you could print it on Blending Card as well).

I hope to see you at the live feed! If you don't make the live feed, we will be posting a video after the event as well, so stay tuned.

Thanks for the information regarding your blog, Marianne! The first part of the video was ok but then it got hung up. Finally had to turn it off and am waiting for the release. Your coloring presentation is fantastic. Looking forward to seeing more tutorials. I am new to Copics as of a month or so ago and have started a collection of my own. I have practiced several of your projects (have the latest 3 books!). Still need lots of practice, LOL.... Thanks again.

Loved this video. Learned so much and am excited to start experimenting. I bought my markers when working at a stamping and scrapbook store but there was no one to teach it. Now that I have retired, I'm getting back to my first love of art.

Also watched the video from PopSketches about the Copic line of products. When you said you just wanted to rub your hands all over the display of markers I laughed out loud. I feel the same way! If I've had a bad day I can go into my craft room and just ogle the markers, glitters, paint, etc. and I feel better.

I can't wait to explore your entire blog...now that I have the time.

Thanks for sharing your talent and skills!

Hi Marianne! I just watched a 2014 video where a guy interviewed you for an hour at comicon. You mentioned you used to work at a rubber stamp company, I'm a paper rafter and have a growing selection of copies and was just wondering where you worked. I love your work, and your knowledge of copics is amazing!
