I have a list of upcoming events, and I think you'll be excited. This year we've been branching out in what we teach and offer. Upcoming Workshops

Paper crafting workshops
I can't believe that this year is almost over! I was going over my lists and I realized that a new year means new workshops are listed on the Copic website.  Lots of dates and locations are now listed.

New for 2016:
Coloring Flowers: Beyond the Book- This workshop includes some great images from the coloring flowers book, but also includes some new images. This class is taught on the same day, in the evening on any day that we are also offering a Standard Certification class.

Continuing from last year:
Standard Copic Certification: The ultimate class for paper crafters who want to know all the fundamentals of using Copic Markers. Learn how to test papers, inks, airbrush, and choose colors. Learn multiple blending techniques and experiment with a little mixed media.

Intermediate Certification: This class is perfect for people who have taken the Standard Certification class and now want to learn how to color more like an artist. Learn how to apply shadows and choose colors beyond the basics. Discuss composition ideas and how to color tricky situations and more complex images.

Whimsical Faces & Hair: Learn tips and tricks for coloring a variety of fun faces and hairstyles. Try many different color combinations and get ideas for adapting into your own stamp projects.

Vintage Values & Monotones: Have you ever wanted to color beautiful sepia images or in a limited color palette? This class is a great way to experiment with a variety of colors and techniques for beautiful images.

Dress for Success: Coloring Clothing & Accessories: From wrinkles to textures and patterns, this class will help you color many different fabrics and fabric styles. Leather, plaid, metal, and so much more!

New Orleans Classes

I was busy booking my events this Spring, and due to flights, I came up with a hiccup in one of my schedules. It meant I had to spend an extra day in New Orleans. This is good news for you, because it means that next month I will be offering a couple of classes that were not on our schedule!

Learn basic Copic techniques as well as some advanced tips for making your flowers look more dimensional and authentic.


This special workshop is an introduction to the the beautiful projects found in the upcoming Coloring Flowers book. Learn how to convert digital photographs into stunning personal works of art using Copic Markers. This fun and relaxing class is different from other Copic classesSuitable for everyone—from new beginners to advanced Copic users.

2014 is nearly over, can you believe it? We have so many classes starting up next year that I can't help but get excited! If you haven't taken one of our great introductory coloring classes, then I encourage you to make this your year to learn. December and January Classes

Can you believe that 2015 is just around the corner?? Eeek! I was just getting used to 2014 and now I'm thinking about the classes I'll be teaching in January.

I have some great workshops and classes coming up around the country, so if you see something nearby, sign up!

December
In December I will be visiting Arizona and teaching some great classes based on the popular tracing Memories program. Come and learn how to convert your own photographs into outlines you can color with Copic markers and turn into your very own custom works of art. No experience needed! These are great classes for both beginners as well as advanced Copic users.

In January, our new round of Copic Classes start. You can register now for all of our classes held in Anaheim, CA during CHA. Click HERE for details on these classes.

You'll see our classic Certification classes offered, as well as some new Color & Ink workshops. More Faces and Hair gives you different images and different challenges than last year's class. Vintage Values and Monotones teaches you how to adapt your coloring for sepia, grayscale, or other color variations you may not have tried yet. Then, Dress For Success, Clothing and Accessories will step you through ruffles, pleats, leather, and more. I will be teaching Tracing Memories, Coloring Photo Line art, teaching you new things to do with your markers and digital photography. And, a new exclusive, Coloring Flowers, a fabulous class for both beginners as well as skilled Copic users where we color nothing but flowers and leaves.
